HI Mayuresh.. as your bike is new.. & 800kms is good enough man.. just ride it.. dont worry about it..! I would suggest to take the Pune-Kolhapur-Belgaum-- road only.. as it is butter smooth with a divider., U will have your own way to ride on.. you can maintain a speed of 70-80, there wont be any problem on that.
Take rest on 70-80kms distance, doing 100kms one or two times will be good nonstop.
Just relax & dont worry about anything, you are on the wonderful machine & the road which your machine wanted..
To carry luggage, I assume you wont have a saddle bag, so try having nice backpack & you can tie it up nicely with ropes or bungee cords to your bike.

            Need some route info

Has anyone done Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary from Shimogo to Chikmangalur via SH57.

            Any update on Road condition?
Does this route offer good scenic beauty? or its just a ride through the forests?

I'll be doing this at around 3-5 pm so is this timeframe ok?Any issues if it gets a lil dark .Any villages in the vicinity?

                Hi all,

I am planning a 4 day ride to kerala from bangalore. The route I plan to take is

                Bangalore - Mysore - Bandipur - Ooty - Coimbtore - Cochin - Allepy - Munnar - Coimbore - Salem - Bangalore

Is there anyway it can be improved further. Any updates on road conditions on this route.

And another thing i wanted to know was how much rain do i expect. Is it raining heavily in Kerala??

Anyone has an idea how the Pune Bhimashankar route is? How's the road quality after we cross Khed?

road ain't that great...but you also have a option of going via malshej ghat if at all you going from thane...

that way is bit longer but better roads...

Actually I am going from Pune, so will have to take left from either Khed or from Manchar. Are both the roads bad? My itenarary was Pune-Khed-Chas Kaman dam-Bhimashankar-Dimbhe dam-Manchar-Pune. Is it doable?

                            I did it through Khed.
Its doable for sure.If you dont have a pillon then any road is ok for a short ride.

Anyone who has done recently plz update on the road condition now

                              Mumbai to Hyderabad

                              Doston,
This Saturday I went to Hyderabad from Mumbai on my 5 year old Pulsar 150. I also had an unconfirmed rail ticket for friday night. It got confirmed on Friday only and once I was in two minds but decided to go by bike only.
Slept at 1 to wake up at 4 but woke at 4:30. Started at 5. Tanked up and started driving cautiously until it was dark.
Took first 10 minutebreak at Pune at 7:30 to ask for directions and to have a tea.
Took second 10 minute wada pav break at 10:10 AM at 10 kms. from Tembhurni (326 kms done. approximately)
Third and final break was for beer at 12:50 at Umarga (513 kms. done)
Reached Madinaguda, Hyderabat at 4:00 pm.
Original plan was to drive back on Monday but unfortunately I had to come to the office due to some urgent work. Came by flight. Bike is in Hyderabad.
Would bring at some other weekend
