Thats a pretty interesting observation! Really surprising how shabby the manufacturers can get. Do the bikes having these offsets feel out of alignment when you drive them?

Good to know that the M45 is gelling with your RTR man. From what Ive heard, its a brilliant tyre and hence your RTR must be cornering like on rails
As far as the speed-bump tolerance issue is concerned, id reckon stiffening up the rear further would eliminate that too, but might wreck the rear-end grip that you're enjoying now.
Peg-scrape away without any fear then !

      Cheers !

      • hello everyone. i need your help and it is urgent. i ride an apache 150 which has done twenty eight thousand ( 28,000) kms and the time has to come to change the front tyres. as you know the stock tyres from tvs are useless, i was planning to fit the R15's front tyre i.e zapper FY. please tell me if this is possible as the MRF dealer said that the front alloy cant handle the tubeless tyre.

please reply quickly as i need to buy the tyre in 3 to 4 days

please give me more options too.

i am located in bhopal, MP.

        thank you

I put a P2OO MRF zapper on my P18OUGIII mags.

i'm running them tubeless now... all i had to do was put in a valve on my rim that seals in the air.
as long as the mag size n tyre size match... n as long as u have the tyre put on right... u shudn't hav a problem with tubless tyres on ur RTR mags.

i had a Pirellis on my P18OUGIII... used it for about 2 years... i've switched back to the MRF zappers used on the P2OO.

noticed a huge difference when i switched back to zappers...
the Pirellis felt like Velcro. brilliant tyres. so that's what i'd recommend if u have the budget.

i'm still lookin for a good pair for my bike. haven't found dem yet.

wish i could live with 130 sections at the front. anyways the problem is that my bike is the normal apache 150, not the rtr. this is creating a problem for my bike because no one knows if they can fit a tubeless tyre on my model i.e A150.

              please help

Actually i put it on the last setting...so the shocks are at the stiffest that they can be. I'll have to live with the speed bump issue. Oh its a brilliant tyre, well worth the expense. The bike does indeed feel like its on rails now

Does your Apache have 17" alloys in the front? If yes, they the Zapper FY fits in happily. Pls don't forget to put in a tubeless tyre valve before you get the tyre on.

Please let us know what IRC tyre models & sizes that dealer has and their cost. What you've told is the least cost we have heard for an IRC.

those tyres are in short supply and hence the prices went up. If you want to buy, pay the price. I think the lowest you can get now is for Rs 1300 but I paid Rs 1400 for that same tyre last week.

yes my apache has a 17 inch at the front but the guy says that the tyre wont fit because the rim is too broad for the R15 tyre as it supports a 90 section tyre..... i have no idea what he said. And will surely confirm the price and let you know. even i was shocked when i heard the price. i hope i didnt hear the wrong price

gotta search hard. I got the last set in Ramkote last week. Just one more shop had another rear tyre.

People are quoting 1400-1500 for front and 1700-1800 for the rear.
