• Re: Tyres

So here is the initial review of this tyre . Have used only for few kms only in dry . Sand and gravel slush . Grip is simply unbelievable . I have never used any tire having grip more than this . U name anything and it handle them all (sand etc ) .
If i compare it with zapper fs that i used earlier then the diffrence is equal to the diffrence between tvs tyres and pirelli. So far according to me its best dual purpose tyre .
Will post about wet surface soon .

And about price . Its price normally is 1500rs .But i got for 1270rs

dhillon7: thanks for the review mate, got confused between you and Ezilkannan, so quoted the wrong guy

So it is clearly much better than stock MRF Zapper FS and also better at off roads (which is my main concern!) and for that price, I think I will get it soon and try it out myself.

MRF Zapper FS and is harder compound is stock in all Pulsar series, and if I am not wrong, running on my second pair and only when the tire is warmed up real good you can expect very good grip, but anything in colder days even with full threads, it just loses it's line, had many close calls in slush cornering, but so far so good, it just lost and gains and most of the times your heart just skips a beat when that moment happens! Phew!

Cheers!

The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Adarsh_Bk. Yes they are better than zapper fs any day . They are the best dual purpose tyres according to me . But if ur looking only for higways and no offroads and no sand no gravel then they are of no use to you
B7ACKTHORN yes ur right . I also used zapper fs .but in my town roads have sand and slush so zapper fs were no where near zoom-f in terms of grip . Zapper fs are scary on sand

@dhillon7: As I said, off road is my main concern bro, as I have started slightly enjoying it more than knee down cornering (No, I am not that old now ) So yes, I will mostly get this tyre then. Also it is the exact same size for RTR!

@B7ACKTHORN : I know it is slightly better than TVS thats all

The Ceat Zoom : This isn't really an off-road tyre. Use the Secura Gripp or Sport with a block pattern for mild off road usage. For true offroad/trail usage, you have very blocky tyres, you'll have to look into your options there.

The Zoom F is not really an off road tyre, BUT, it maintains grip VERY well. I've noticed more stability than the stock MRF n my ZMA as well.

Here are my opinions on the tyres in the ZMA thread.

AK3D i already said zoom-f is a dual purpose tyre . Zma and p220 have totally diffrent variety . P220 has 17" alloy. So all others u named are not available for p220.

Also changed the rear tyre to ceat vertigo rage 120/80-17 found it with huge difficulty . Only 130 was available .
Cant upload pic . from android app . Whats wrong ????

dhillon7 : The ceat tyres are available in 17" options, in fact, the 17" rim has a wider variety in the sense that even TL types for that rim are available!
You should directly contact the distri in case you can't find a tyre. Vertigo rage seems to be a great tyre, it would be helpful if you could give a review of the same.

Recently got Michellin Sirac street 2.75 - 18 tyre front tyre for my Karizma.. I would like to say, its simply awesome.. thou the tyre thread pattern looks like offroad, the grip they provide on tarmac and cornering is just superb.. Here are few pics on 10 days old tyre.

And one more important thing I would like to add here.. I was facing wobbling and shaky handle bars with my old MRF tyres and the noise from the front mask.... Its all gone now Never thought that a good tyre will solve so many minor problems.. I am highly satisfied by these tyres.. Gonna change my rear tyres soon, so please suggest me which one I could go for? I searched for sirac street for rear but it wasnt available in the market.

No arm will be done if upgrading to 10 mm from what the stock tires are. . . Your handling will be improved, Zapper Vyde is a good option, go for it. . . Apache at least needs Vyde for better cornering. . .
