    It's real strange, perhaps the tire's thread pattern might have been so slick that it spins out of control. And what's even more strange is the fact that I'm hearing everything topsy turvy as to the spec and advantages of this tire offers. Perhaps you must try dry conditions and see how it fares. But apart from that, power up on low gears on a wet surface will make the wheel spin no matter what tire it is.

    You can try VYDE or the Ceat VERTIGO Rage for the rear, for better cornering, stick with FY or FY1 all these are good tires.

      @ RAKESH thanks for the reply. as the stock rim is small will upgrading to 120 not make the profile more rounder and decrease stability? at front firstly i have got zapper fx 100/80 and experienced the same problem. in zapper vyde and zapper q which is better? are these both available in 120? what if i lower to 100? and how is zapper c 110/80 stock of dazzler? budget doesnt matter i am looking for grippier rubber which increase stability and confidence at high speeds as the wheelbase of apache is small it is not stable at high speeds specially corners.

        Today i changed front tyre of my p220 to ceat zoom-f 90/90-17 tubeless . Will post pic tomorrow as its dark now .

        But i am facing a problem now . Front disk is making screeching sound now . It was not coming before but after fitting new tyre it started . Whats wrong ?? And solution ?? Disk pads are not worn out. I checked

          The problem is when they fitted back the wheel they did not align so that the disk goes between the pads. Instead they have pushed the pads to one side and fitted the wheel such that the disk is outside the page. Take it to a local mechanic and ask him to remove the caliper assembly and fit it back properly

            Sagarpadki is right, get your brake pads slack adjusted properly. Brake pads need calibration before they are installed in any vehicle that comes with disc brakes. And unfortunately most just remove and then install it back. Once they remove the pressure is released from the pads and they extend a little from their place and cause uneveness inside the caliper, get it rectified by correct slackness it should be all right.

            Plus once you change the tires, the tires must be aligned like they do for a car.

              Will get slack adjusted tomorrow .

              Unfortunately in my town noone has the machines to align bike wheels .they have only for cars .
              Do svc have them ?

                As to my knolwedge, I don't think SVCs have them, at the most they just replace the tires, upon request. But you can ask them, or ask them to guide you if they know any shops who do the alignment, that's how I got hold of it in my local town, but I had to drive 100 KMS for that, and totally 200 up/down.

                    Nope! The one used for car requires the wheel to be calibrated from all four corners, and the sensors determine the angle of the wheel to the ground, two wheelers are different.

                      By balancing are you referring to alignment? If so I think shops that align wheels for cars will also do for bikes, atleast the one that I know of does.

                        Will visit svc . How much it cost u for alignment ?
                        If they dont have any information then will have to stay without aligning .Any major problem then ?

                          Yes it's basically the same, you need not do it for your new R15, only when either of the tires are removed and then installed, especially when fitted with a new tire.

                          Costed 300 bucks. Alignment is not a big deal, if you can do them, that's good, else nothing to worry.

                            I didnt do it for my bike. My friend got his done there, just wanted to mention that they also align bikes at these shops.

                              @Ezilkannan : Can you please post a brief review of the tyre? It looks exactly like the kind I am looking for, which is to handle off roads well! There are very few dual purpose options for front at 17 inch. But want to know if it is bad in dry tarmac. And what was the cost?

                              Surprisingly, nobody does wheel alignment/balancing for two wheels in Blore!! I searched everywhere and all of them do for four wheelers only.

                                I dont know about that tire bro. I havent used it. I was just mentioning that some shops that do alignment for cars do it for bikes too (The Bridgestone near my place did it for one of my friends' bike. As far as I have heard, if the tires are good for offroading they wont be equally good in flat tarmac and vice versa. Maybe there are some dual purpose ones, but I havent heard of/seen any.
