Re: Tyres
They do have a tyre called "Blaster Pro" in 140/70-17 and it looked great , the rubber was soft to touch too (softer than zappers). However, I have not tired that tyre yet.
They have 18 tyres too. However, the new Blaster range is not available in 18. However for Zma I will still prefer a Sirac or sports demon from Continental GT.Street racing is for Squids trying to make up for their small equipment

Re: Tyres
quick help pls! I have an option to buy MRF Zapper Y tubeless from changemytyre.com and replace my similar tube type MRF Zapper Y.
The dealer told me that with tube type rim, there are chances of air leakage and for which he gives no guarantee. The size of both the tyres are same plus rim is in good condition, just 12K kms old. Let me know what to do :-( I need tubeless badly as I live in a puncture prone area." A man is also known by the bike he rides :D "

Bottomline, can it be fitted on a alloy rim, yes. But if the rim side thread is bent or warped the air won't be pocketed properly. Considering all else being fine, I don't see a point why it can't fit.
Cheers!

Re: Tyres
I know lot of us have asked this question in this thread but I couldn't find the proper answer for 200NS so here I go. If we change from stock tyre size to something else say from 100/80-17 to 110/80-17. How much difference does it make with engine performance? Or say from 130/70-17 to 140/70-17. Is it really harmful for the engine? I want to go for Michelin Pilot Street very badly because I have seen it and tested it but they don't have 100/80-17. So no choice than going for 110 front. But they have 130 available but I thought both should be proportionate so thinking of putting 140 rear. Any genuine advice please?

HI friends. I am planning to change my tyres(both front and back) on my P220. Currently using michelin pilot sporty on the front and mrf revz s on the rear. Planning to stick onto the same rear tyre. Shortlisted zapper fs(90/90)(stock tyre) and zapper fy1(90/80)( R15 V2 front tyre) for my next front tyre. Please provide any information regarding the availability of Zapper FY1. Any dealers or contact number or online shops or anything like that. Thanks in advance

Pilot street is perfect for NS. Go for the Zapper FX 100 front and 140 Pilot street for rear. Its tailor made for NS.Street racing is for Squids trying to make up for their small equipment

upsizing the front tyre is a bad idea...! it will affect the bike handling drastically.but iam not sure the extend to which it affects. but for rear tyre you can upsize to 140 but keep in mind the overall height of the tyre. otherwise you wont feel much difference in handling.
Points to remember:
while upgrading rear tyre from the stock size 130/70
* 140/70 ---> Improves top end but no significant change in handling and decrease acceleration.
*140/60 ----> Improves acceleration and handling but less top end
Also the weight of thew tyre should not exceed much compared to stock. fitting 140 in rear is a killer look for NS..!!
