true the wet grip is outstanding. It holds like a leech in rain. And cornering is also very very good .

I dunno how yours got bald so soon. mine still has decent about of tread left after 14k kms . I was using it as tube type since two weeks after one of the existing puncture started leaking again. wanted tube less keeping in mind the safety and convenience.

we have veey poor roads over here in kolkata and i have to ride a lot over sand and gravel

maybe thats the reason for mine going bald...how is your condition now after 14k? Can you post some pics?

Hi guyz,

The stock rear tyre of my P220 gave up at 10k kms, I use the bike for commuting daily to office (30KM one way). The tyre got abt 4-5 punctures and they drove me crazy, the tubeless tyre repair strips started leaking again and again...

Finally got myself a Pirelli Sport Demon 130/70 17'' and its changed the handling and braking of the bike a real lot. Cost me Rs. 4200 for the rear tyre and wheel balancing of both wheels...

Thats the reason you should always get Punctures fixed at authorized MRF shops. They use something called as 'Mushroom Patch' to repair the puncture. Once you take a look at it, you will immediately understand why that will work better.

Roadside Puncturewalas these days have become extremely smart and have been making quite a lot of money when fixing Tubeless punctures by duping customers. When they remove the wheel to check for punctures, they deliberately make 3-4 more holes so that they can earn more since Tubeless puncture repairs are usually charged at Rs 70-100 / puncture. The prudent thing to do is to always keep a close watch on what the Puncture guy is doing instead of letting him do his thing.

Do MRF authorized shops exist in Delhi too? I want to get alignment check done of my front tyre. I believe there is a slight bend coz whenever I do 40-50 KPH, the handlebar oscillates which means, I guess, that there is a small bent hitting the tarmac & since the speed is slow I can feel it. Once st higher speed, it vanishes.

Guys from Delhi, please help.

Prob is that there are no good repair shops on my way to work so the only option is to go to the road side guys. But I stand and watch what they are doing.

They last guy also told me to put a mushroom patch instead of the strips as they hold better. But he said that he will have to remove the whole tyre and patch it from the inside. I was on my way to work and didnt have the time so just got the strip. Later on got the tyre change.

Problem is I can't find a good dealer who does rim alignment for bikes!

which tire is the best tubeless or tubed.i purchase a pirrelli tire for my bajaj eliminator bike size 130/90/15.the dealer billed the tire for rs5200,tire is tubeless.i want to know about price is it reasonable or he over charged for the tire.

giving away Michelin pilot sporty 110/80-17

I have a pilot sporty wit the above mentioned size 110/80-17 used for 14k kms. decent amount of tread left. will last for another 6 or 7k kms. I am giving it for FREE. the reason is one of the puncture started leaking and I changed to different tire. The tire is in absolutely good condition with no damage to its structure. Grips and corners like a leech.

if anyone is interested in using it WITH TUBE, you are most welcome to pick it up from my place.

i had experienced steering wobbling whenever the rear tyre(tubeless) punctured...at 40-50kmph the bike wobbles and as soon as u go further it is normal...same happens during braking as soon as i reduce speed while braking the wobbling starts.check for puncture!
plus if u want to check steering head bearing set just mount the bike on main stand move the handle left to right or either side...if the movement is smooth no problem, if not it is tight get it loose or if u feel it uneven like it moving step by step(not free movement) then u need to replace the bearing cone set

Bawa ! Unfortunately the MRF shop here at suryanagar doesnt even have a front tubeless tyre in the size 90

The guy asks me to put a tubed one at front and tubeless at back

And what ? you asking about this ?
