Psd 110/90 18

I want to upgrade Karizma ZMR rear tyre with PSD 110/90 18.
I am from Bangalore and searched most of the places to no luck., can anyone help me where can I get them in Bangalore.

PSd,s are very difficult to find now...Even if you find, it will cost you a bomb..If you are willing to sacrifice tubeless option, better You can go for michelin sirac street. I have changed the rear tyre of xtreme from mrf tubeless to sirac street with honda tuff up tube,,

what are the advantages for filling the tyres with nitrogen ?
heard that its better than normal air, but couldn't get the reason why..

Nitrogen is lighter than air., so less weight. Also air consists of water vapor which tends to more pressure change with temperature swings than dry air.

guys need your help in deciding new tyres for my Pulsar NS. I currently have Pirelli sports demons fitted at front and rear. What options do I have apart from Pirellis again...?? It would be great if you guys could share your valuable inputs. My primary requirement is good grip for cornering.

nitrogen filing in tyre heard about it today,if we once fill nitrogen den again cn v feel normal air???met 220ian who has pirelli sports demon 130 in his rear n he has done nitrigen fiiling in his tyres weight has reduced no drop in average or pickup,wana knw abt dis nitrogen

Using tires is just purely a matter of personal choice, but it would be better idea if one sticks to the stock setup as much as one could, but that's one.

The advantages of using Nitrogen in tires are quite plausible.

First off, nitrogen is less denser than oxygen so less uneven pressure applied to the tire walls when the tire is heated up, but whereas heated oxygen tends to negatively affect the pressure inside the tire.

Also oxygen tends to leak out no matter how much you top up your tire with (making sure you don't blow your tire

) Have you ever noticed after a few days after not using your bike, the tire pressure drops, it's due to oxygen escaping the tire, which in such case makes nitrogen best as nitrogen doesn't leak as such.

Three, oxygen can cause water vapor inside tires which condensates and causes water to form inside the rims causing the rim to rust inside,have you ever seen laced rims that are rusted inside? Thisis the reason.

Best use is to use Nitrogen if available.

Try asking it in Michelin showrooms, they should stock them. I have a friend in Blore, will get back to him and let it know here.

Not really. It doesn't bounce in potholes. Overinflation is what causes a tire to bounce, no matter it's nitrogen or oxygen. Just make sure you don't overinflate and fill the tire with nitrogen with the right spec and you're all set.

I am from Hyderabad and going to pick my friend's Duke this Saturday from Bangalore. Could anyone please suggest tyre shops in Bangalore that stocks Duke tyres at reasonable prices. Considering every MRF shop has it's own quote for the tyres, please provide the pointers for cheapest price. And what is the total cost of tyres(with breakup)

I have no idea as to which shop have them, perhaps others can chime in. But prices for the most are standard across most dealers. The difference would hardly be 100 to 200 bucks, but if you bargain hard enough trust me they'd give up.

But you can always try BAJAJ-KTM showrooms for the detailed low down.

Here in Hyderabad most dealers have different prices and assumed the same for Bangalore. Also, checked one of KTM SVC, Bangalore and they quoted 4k for rear tyre. AFAIK rear tyre of Duke retails somewhere around 2800-2900 K.

That is the right price. 4k is just overkill. But corroborate the results with the website and dealers, and go for where they sell cheap. But will try to keep it posted here asking one of my friends.
