Are IRC's costlier than Michelin, which is the best 100/90 for unicorn for rains?

Yes, the IRCs are costlier than the Michelins(even sirac which retails at around 2600 - 2700)..!!Originally posted by saif71184 View PostAre IRC's costlier than Michelin, which is the best 100/90 for unicorn for rains?
In rains, most of the tyres would skid a bit(in case of excessive braking)...dunno how much grip wud the IRCs or the Michelins would give but heard that Michelins is better..!! I m yet to experience the same with the Duro..

Why are IRC's costlier...never heard of them bfore...

Well, its not that they are costly everywhere..!! Its just costly in Mumbai bcoz that dealer is the lone dealer in mumbai...so its his monopoly.. and secondly it also depends on the taxation structure of that state..in Maharastra its the highest..!!Originally posted by saif71184 View PostWhy are IRC's costlier...never heard of them bfore...
Bcoz i checked in Banglore and Delhi for the IRCs..they are available for just 1000 - 1300 bucks..!!

hi all ,
i have rx 135 4s.........
which are the best tyres for it??
i will be using the bike in city as well in a place which is extremely rocky n muddy........ in rainy season water also there
so are there any dual purpose tyres???
sometimes on the highways
i was thinking of putting a fat tyre on the rear!!!
is it advisable to do that ?
i heard from someone to put r15 tyres instead.... dont know whether they suit my requirements
currently i am having dunlop tyres.......... they slip on mud while braking urgently even at 30 - 50 kmph
n i also read that the mileage will suffer
one person told me putting a fat rear tyre reduces mileage by 10 kmpl

didnt know how cud he give a exact figure
but anywhere near it will blow me up
.
so please tell me according to you the best tyres which suit my need
currently i am having dunlop tyres which skid in muddy areas........ even when i brake urgently at low speeds
i ve already fallen down onceHope is a good thing ,

Which Dunlops do you have? I'm not sure which tyres you are comparing to... if at all! I'm using Dunlop Challenger and its much better than... say something like Zapper Y.
Any tyre thats ment for tarmac will skid (in varying degrees) on mud. If you want a tyre that performs well in mud, choose a offroad tyre which has well spaced studs. But such a tyre will not give a good ride on good roads/highways.

well how to see which dunlop are they????? i dont have such knowledge
i just know its dunlop
. my tyre skids when i am straight also[ forget bout varying degrees ] ....... feels so low of confidence n also actually useless in mud..... i ve tried stopping ... the rear tyre stops moving but skids very easily.........
thats why sir i asked whether there is a multipurpose tyre or not........
and i am not comparing dunlop to anyone
i just wanna ask ki my current tyres are suitable or not ....for my requirements
and if not
which one shud i replace them wid?Hope is a good thing ,
