Try out the Variants like 100/80 X18 or 110/70 X18.Originally posted by dhooom View Posthello every one I have a feiro f2 and I need to change my rear tyre badly
the original size is 90/90 X18 could any one suggest whats the max size of tyre I could put on my bike without effecting its performance much.
They'll provide almost similar Performance.
With 100/80 X18 U'll not be able to notice any difference.
U get a bit of more accelaration with 110/70 X18 & lose maximum of 2-3 kmph of Top Speed.
U can also try the 100/90 X18 But U see a good drop in Accelaration & a 3-4kmph increase in the top speed.
All of these would fit without any modifications on UR Stock RIM.sigpic

Inder, Yes thats right Akshay is from Chandigarh and has got the best performing Michelin Sirac recently for his ZMA. The reason for me to go for CEAT for R15 is
1. They are tubeless, I believe Michelin's are tubed once.
2. 18 inches are available but no one here has the 17 inches of Michelin.
3. Michelin's are VFM but I am going to use the tyre only for the trip, once back to Chandigarh I will put my stock MRF back so dont wana spend that much.Last edited by biker boy; 05-14-2009, 10:14 AM.One of the awesome feelings I had in my life is to see the world receding on my back mirror

Hi, I also have a Fiero F2&the stock rear tyre got worn out within 2 yrs.-20K kms. After that I put in the Dunlop GeoCruiser tyre that used to come with the Classic CBZ. It is excellent, 3 years&almost 30K kms. down the line it looks as good as new. I suggest you to go with that. I can attach pics if you want. In the shops, just ask for old CBZ tyre. It costed me around Rs.1000 with tube back then. Specs. are 100/90/18" as opposed to stock specs of 90/90/18". No need for any mods, max maybe 2 kms. difference in mileage.Originally posted by dhooom View Posthello every one I have a feiro f2 and I need to change my rear tyre badly

which is a good 90/90/17 front tyre? i need it for my rtr.. doing a leh trip.. so need one good tyre which wont slip in water!
nothing more than 1500 bucks.. i currently have an irc front which costed me 2.8k! and it is 100/80/17 which is a little overkill for the bike and bad cornering stability!
any good tyres in mrf range?A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.
Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

and unicorn has an 18 inch rear tyre....
so it cant fit on a uni
Anyways, why would you want to go for a discovers rear tyre on a uni...

hmmm.... you are using the R15's rear tyre spec IRC (MB 99) for your front!!! right?
Saw that yesterday for Rs 1650 as R15's rear tyre is not available anywhere.
May be you can try one of those stock tyres for the front from Dunlop or MRF. How about the Ceat 100/90 x 17 TL Vertigo Sport for Rs 1000???
