I presently have fz tyres (I guess discription of the tyre not required) but due to the little bent in the rear alloy wheel it leaks air from the tubeless tyre. I notice this as I have to fill in air every week!
I have checked the tubeless tyre for any puncture but no sign of such. Service centre guys told me that alloy wheel bents cannot be fixed cos it might break the whole rim. So my question is: Can the bent be fixed by any method?Secondly if the above fixing can't work, I am thinking of using a tube inside the tubeless tyres which will prevent the air from leaking from the bent. I learnt from the mechanic that only the nozzle needs to be changed/removed. I am thinking of doing this as the tyre thread is still good enough for the road and I am not planning to buy a new tubeless tyre till the present one gets totally worn out.
So what are the pros and cons of converting the tubeless tyre to tube tyres?
Any enlightenment on this two area is appreciated.
thanks.
