Yeah! He had the 140 instock, but had to call the dealer for the 130. Maybe the dealer quoted a higher rate this time.Originally posted by KwokFist View Post
I got the quote from a Car accessories showroom near my place in Sanjaynagar. Let me know if you are interested in the tyres, & I can help with this shop.Originally posted by sagarpadaki View Post

My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

To add to the sirac, even the pilot sporty does'nt have much grip levels. Cornoring has always been a scary affair with the rear sliding. it slides abt 6 out of 10 times. Now am scared to ride hard like i used to when i had Vee Rubber! i seriously hope this is a isolated issue. I have'nt come across anyone having a pilot Sporty @ hyderbad to take their feedback as well.Originally posted by Praful View Post@Gaurav: Ok, bringing up this old issue again. This case of not enough grip is not an isolated case with my tyre. I had recommended the Sirac to a lot of people and the feed back from them is also along the similar lines. For people who have gone in for their second Sirac, they are finding atleast 50% lesser grip levels compared to their earlier Sirac's! For people who have just moved to Sirac also are complaining of a similar issue that the grip levels as good/bad as a stock tyre only.
Now I very accurately remember that the first Sirac I had on my bike stuck like a leech to the ground, and compared to the stock rubber grip levels were atleast up by 50%!
My first Sirac was purchased around July'2009 and the second one was picked up around May'2010.
Additionally, I also want to add that these cases that I am mentioning are not from on specific dealer. This is a general feedback collated from people who have bought tyres from different dealers.
Awaiting your inputs on this. In my personal opinion either the compound has changed, or all those who have purchased tyres in 2010 have recieved old stock of tyres who's compound has hardened with age!
On the othr hand, i have M45 for my Zma.....am completely satisfied with it!Last edited by onlinesatish; 02-26-2011, 05:18 PM.07 HH Zma

I am using michelin pilot sporty 100/90 on rear and michelin m45 on front on my unicorn.Originally posted by raksrules View PostIt seems my Unicorn's tyres have worn out. I had bought the bike in 2007 November and till now have driven close to 13500 kilometers (i know my usage is less). But i have experienced that the rear tyre is skidding many a times and feel the need to change it.
What brand i should go for and specifications if you can provide ??
Currently it is MRF Zapper (dont know specs).
Any idea about cost ??
Michelin is also an option.
They are surely better than stock, big improvement in stopping distance more confidance also, tail keeps in line with front when braking hard.
Please note pilot sporty shows tag as tt/tl means can be use both as tubeless and tubetypeASHWIN NARVEKAR

@sateesh:- I too have Pilot sporty on my Fiero, this tyre will start sliding with the slightest amount of gravel on the road, so better know its limitations, when the road is clean this tyre just hugs the road and great under hard braking too. So be very careful abt sand and off roading.
The m45 on the other hand is a perfect compromise, good for all kinds surfaces, but wears out very fast and isnt as good as the pilot sporty on hard braking specially on tar roads.

Guys,
Feedback on MRF Zapper Q ?
I need to change the tyres of my CBZ Extreme. Looking for options for both front and rear tyres.Personally liked Zapper Q . Saw Michelin Sporty but the reviews here dont really favour it. Can anyone share reviews about Zapper Q and also a better tyre in the front compared to stock tyre?
Need really grippy tyres. Using the current set of tyres for almost 4 years now @ 20k kmguys..if you ever need blood or want to donate blood, please refer to this site :

Do you ever notice that when you're driving, anyone going slower than you is an idiot and everyone driving faster than you is a maniac ?

For the front, I would suggest Michelin M45 or M35-they are the grippiest you can find!Originally posted by kaka View PostGuys,

Rear is upto you. I would have gone for Pilot Sporty if I were in your place-the Michelin combo will work well.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

But off late, there is a lot of -ve feedback/review about Michelin tyres here on xbhp. I saw pilot sporty but many members here have mentioned that the grip isn't good.

Ya bro, i did notice tht! And i dont cornor or even get the idea to cornor if i find even slightest of gravel on the road!Originally posted by bprags View Post@sateesh:- I too have Pilot sporty on my Fiero, this tyre will start sliding with the slightest amount of gravel on the road, so better know its limitations, when the road is clean this tyre just hugs the road and great under hard braking too. The place i cornor are completly free of gravel and yet it slides6 out of 10 times! i used vee rubber before at the same place and it used to stick to the road like a leech...but it wore out completly by 15k kms!
now this is why am worried. but other than that am satisfied with its wet grip and braking n all! I have now completed 6k kms on the pilot sporty!07 HH Zma

There has been no negative comment about the M45/M35-go for that in front&rear Zapper Q is a good option.Originally posted by kaka View PostBut off late, there is a lot of -ve feedback/review about Michelin tyres here on xbhp.
