Went to the Collinite website and store locater or distributor list page and entered my zip code in the upper left corner as instructed . All stores that appeared were in USA . I am not able to travel that far to buy just a car wax , and am unable to endorse a product which has no shop or distributor in India , for regular use . Moreover #845 is priced at 17.99$ i.e about 900 Rs , i'm sure the importer will price it much more than this too . So unless this product is about ten times better than my perfectly good old one , which I think it isn't, you know what I'll buy .

It is also my belief that wax-polish that is easier to buff off .. is also similarly easily removed by the natural elements . Collinite also admits this and I quote -
1. No.476s – most durable protection/weather defense. Most elbow grease required during application.
2. No. 915- 2nd most durable and slightly easier than the 476s to apply/remove. No. 915 .....
3. No. 845- easiest of the 3 to apply/remove with slightly less durability than the No. 915.

So you see that their most durable formulations also contains the max proportion of carnauba and is solid-paste . All their waxes are combination of carnauba & polymer waxes . Waxpol is only carnauba wax . That too desi and for just 100 odd Rs . No fakes .
Aargee , I'm lazier than you too . Got a 100ml bottle of 3M liquid wax , waiting to try it out next. The 3M is not an imported one , it is polymer-only wax .

Is it? Collinite claims this product to protect the shine for over 6-8 months. But being India, I'd safely bet about 2-3 months. I've been testing my Rx's tank for quite sometime now; I'd polished & waxed it more than a month ago; the shine remains in the same shape after so much abusal from rains, dirt & muck. All I need to do is just wipe off the dust to get almost the same shine. Also when I say wipe, I really mean one simply wipe, nothing even close to rubbing or cleaning.

Sir, 3M's are just average products; better we enthusiast leave them for common commuters

Well , ok .. I'll certainly give it a try ... once I can get hold of it . I'll be in the US again next July too .. dunno if they allow it in air-baggage . Lets see .

Pinaki Sir - Automall is in Bangalore; its local shipping; its difficult to find in Walmart or Autozone. Order from India itself sir, they're prompt & Mr.Sham is nice person.

Then he showed me 3M Vinyl and Plastic Protectant for use in rear fenders,110rs. is it OK to use in fender?As it is 3M,I hopes it will work well.

Then he showed me 3M Vinyl and Plastic Protectant for use in rear fenders,110rs. is it OK to use in fender?As it is 3M,I hopes it will work well.

You can use that compound to take out a layer off your bike's paint . i.e forget it .
Give us some feedback about the 3M liquid wax (pics of the bottle & results if possible), have you used it ? is it good ?

The shop guy was forcing me to buy it,But i read somewhere that some compounds eats a layer and gives shine,So i told him to give me 3M.Thanks god.

Give us some feedback about the 3M liquid wax (pics of the bottle & results if possible), have you used it ? is it good ?

I had used it before,Easy to apply and gives very good shine,But not sure how much days will it last.Will post the results once i use it.

You do not need to travel that far
There are two authorized distributors in India.
One is in Delhi (www.bringingbest.com, New Delhi, India) and the other is in bangalore (auto mall, bangalore their site : Auto Mall).
I have ordered from both and the services were prompt and delightful (bringingbest sent me a complimentarty microfibre cloth along with the Collonite 845)
Both are good so if you want you can order from any of them.

This is what i used to shine my baby. This is used by most of the local SVC guys near my area.
Its from makers of Fevicol
for 50ml= 25rs, 100ml=40rs. First i brought 50ml for testing. its perfect. but i dont know how many days it lasts. with this cheap rate i dont think its last more than a week. but i am happy i searched some local stores for more polish and wax but not available. i need to search more stores. I think the 3M is a good one let me check is it available here.
