I've posted links to Synn's work in the previous page!

STILL, if the Owner needs 1 shifter, he can "SELF ADJUST" upper shifter to touch lower one, so that the 2 shifters become 1, if a guy needs it desperately ...

So, where's the disadvantage? In fact, I say is there even 1 "real" disadvantage, apart from resistance to change? Do read my text "Advantages" in the 4th post carefully & think about it ...
God.....designers can get damn cocky when somebody tries to point out the flaws in their work! Happens to me too, so you're forgiven :P

Open your eyes, ears and mind. Try to listen to somebody who's only trying to give you a honest critique.

OK. First off, think about it. The upper part of your shoe is in contact with the upper toe lever. The bottom part of your shoe is in contact with the lower toe lever.

Now when you try to upshift, won't the upward action also give a downward reaction that will move the lower shift lever? Try simulating the action with pieces of thermocol and your finger as substitute for the toe

Also, I'm not aware of this maybe experts can shed light. Wouldn't there be a minimum amount of travel required for the lever for the cogs in the box to shift? I mean what if your 10% of foot travel isn't enough to shift the cogs?

Did you worry about the mechanical requirements inside the 'box for having two levers?

          1. OK. First off, think about it. The upper part of your shoe is in contact with the upper toe lever. The bottom part of your shoe is in contact with the lower toe lever.

          2. Also, I'm not aware of this maybe experts can shed light. Wouldn't there be a minimum amount of travel required for the lever for the cogs in the box to shift? I mean what if your 10% of foot travel isn't enough to shift the cogs?

          3. Did you worry about the mechanical requirements inside the 'box for having two levers?
          1. But, I said the gap is adjustable. I NEVER said it is "absolutely tight" ... Some things must have "Free Play" you see...

          2. There is no such limit. If 10% ain't enough, I'll go a distance and apply 20 or 30% whatever is enough to shift it...

          3. Reg. requirements inside the box, they don't matter. You can fit such a lever ABOVE your toe shifter in your present bikes (Pulsar 2**, ZMA, etc.) with welding, etc. and they would function fine (if they're adjustable/ fit fine, that is)

and I'm not getting cocky. I'm learning and so are you. Let us discuss this seriously & determine it's potential. Even upto now, I can't see any "Real Disadvantage" of this system, that would break the Deal ... Suggest more disadv. please.

Can you explain your idea further? I don't see how I can have a two lever setup in my 220 by just welding on an extra lever.

Yeah, I'll do it as soon as possible... As of now, I'm really busy with college & assignments! This College Staff! Always trying to keep a playa' down!

Your designs are awesome too, specially Blackbird Concept & that X1000R ... I Love them!

@ inder.cool: Well, I said it is 1st Post. It resembles ZMA, R1, Ninja 250, etc.. As earlier I had different plans, this resulted in some left resemblance.

                      ---
@ the salyer: Well, what's so complicating? Just another lever ABOVE your stock lever, both attached at one end. You can always see the Images I posted ... So, if upper lever is moved upwards, both the levers move up, and gear changes ... Do See my images, it's not too tough ...

This College Staff! Always trying to keep a player down! Damn! Can't get much time for biking itself ...

In the meantime, do enjoy these Models I created during (middle of) my course :-->

I posted these in my College Notice Board, hence thought of posting it here too. When I get some time, I'll render, maybe create an animation sequence too ...

Rhino or 3D Studio Max should do the job. I would definitely not suggest that you download pirated versions of these softwares first, spend a couple of months learning and see whether you like what you do and then make the investment. Prices of these softwares are astronomical.

I also definitely wouldn't recommend that you PM me if you do not know where to look for the softwares.

Awww... How did I miss this thread?

First up, thank you slayer for posting my work. It seems ages ago that I worked on those. These days, the stuff I get to work are of a more mundane nature. Not to mention, highly confidential, haha!

I'd like to see more works from Satya and slayer. Both have shown me tonnes of awesome concepts and renders, yet I don't see all of them here!

Of course, RagingBull (Muntasser Mirkar, formerly of Bike India), has created arguably the best concepts this board has ever seen. I'll request him to post them up again for our benefit.
