The dealer told me that, I can use the dashboard dresser on the parts which are.not glossy, material like rear tyre hugger.

I did it today and it is shining like new, not sure what will happen in the long term, fingerar crossed.

[QUOTE=vyasvivek;1114799]Any tips and tricks to maintain matte finish paints?

Yes, Indeed Keeping it clean it the key. However, There are different types of products available to protect the matte finish paint! Short Term and Long Term Protection.

Short Term Protection would be by using sealants like Scholls Concepts Neo or anything which is available in the market.

However with my personal experience in Matte finish maintenance, I suggest go for long term protection with coatings like Car Pro Cquartz UK Edition ONLY. Sample (10ml) will cost around Rs1300~. Or any coatings for matte finish. Gyeon also sells some coatings but there is no evidence of application available online.
Cquartz UK Edition will give you excellent Hydrophobic Effects and Also help you in keeping the matte finish clean.

DIY Guys can use Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte Detailer with a good quality plush microfibre for a Satin Finish.

People looking out for a bike shampoo I recommend 3M Car wash Shampoo. Used it today and enjoyed washing bike, lathers alot better than Formula 1 shampoo that I was using.
                  Also bought 3M Microfibre Cloth
                  3M car shampoo-Rs.195
                  Microfibre cloth -Rs.249

Yes, 3M car shampoo is good. One can also try Car wash shampoo from Modicare. I would recommend " Susilac " polish. It costs just 100 bucks ! Its basically a rubbing compound which gives a freshly painted look on old vehicles. Try it out

Came across this & sharing - Buy Motorcycle Care products from GreenZ Car Care India

They're selling some of the top notch products in the industry which are pure value for money on long terms. The products may sound expensive for now, but they've longer shelf life (means they last longer on our motorcycles) & do a fantastic job for what they're made to do

Extra Fine Steel Wool can be used on chrome parts like handle bars, exhaust, engine areas. However, Ensure that you also use a fine metal polish to acheive better results.

Steel Wool removes small rust spots on Chrome. Ensure You Use only over chrome parts.

I suggest, Collinite 850- to be the best DIY metal polish I have personally come across after using almost all products available in India and Abroad.
menzerna, collinite, wenol, sonus all sell metal polishes, research and buy as these last for a really long time for a DIY individual.
