Here's one more video I recorded today with the cam. Have a couple of more videos(Cam mounted on the rear panel etc) which I'll post later.

NOTE: Don't mind the background music some may feel the music doesn't go with the speed... Was in hurry hence edited with the music file available

Here's one more video recorded on the same day as the above video. This time riding on the Marine Drive stretch.
Want to mount the cam on tank showing the console n road ahead but my bike's windscreen is coated in black and hence totally opaque I'll definitely do something for it.

A bit of disappointing video in my opinion. Camera was mounted nicely on the rear panel of R15 but I didn't adjust the angle properly. Angle should have been a bit lower to show more portion of road than the sky above. Also a lot of vibrations on the rear panel hamper the video. I still feel Helmet/tank are the best places to mount camera(DIY cameras, ordinary cameras) not talking bout the high end cameras like GoPro which can be mounted almost anywhere and still return great videos.

Guys, I used to have a temporary patch up before my accident.

What I did was that I cut open a bag, enough for the mobile camera (Samsung innov8) to peep out.
Then, on the inside I attached a cardboard box, where my mobile was put in.

I hang the bag around my neck and there, my mobile records the speedo and the view above it!

After correcting the initial misfittings and the bag's pointing direction (since it was a cloth-made bag, it used to fold up on any one side) I found the system didn't have any noticeable demerit...

I did record some 4-5 videos but they're too large in size... Does anyone want to see them?

ketan one of the best DIY i seen was on mayur's bike yesterday.

A simple effective & cheap camera mount on the R15 tank.

Get in touch with him for details.I was surprised that he didn't put up his innovative idea anywhere on the forum (or maybe i missed it)

Yup.. I've seen that cam mount on FB on his wall. Good stuff using Pulsar 135 spare part n tube light clamps. But for the time being am happy with my camera setup which is returning average/good quality videos(especially when mounted on Helmet). But knowledge never goes waste, that's why would love to know more n more ways to record while on the run..

Sad thing is am not getting time to ride at all now a days.. Got a few more things to try like mounting the cam on tank showing the speedo n road ahead, mounting it near the headlight n a few more places.. Post Diwali should get enough time to experiment these things. I want to test all the cam positions before I leave for Goa in Nov.

Ever since I saw Ketan's videos, and Mayur's cam mount, have been thinking of doing something for my bike.
Well, here's my crude attempt at a cam mount for my P220
Not done yet, but couldn't keep myself form posting this

Nice Video there Centaur. A few more videos will be coming up from my end as I want to try a few more camera positions before I hit the ghats on NH17 on 20th Nov. Got a few ideas in my mind, don't know how successful the videos will be but I'll be giving it a shot soon.

I tried to mount the camera at the same place as you've done here but since my bike's windscreen black, I can only get the speedo in the frame.. Looking for a solution to this problem. Let's see. Thanks for sharing the video.
