The vibration doesn't seem to be much but i guess a better set up or a mod on this one is needed.

Will be posting a video with clear front visor and pics of the mount tomorrow. Meanwhile, here's another small test video, recorded before the final modification and changing the front visor.

Maybe possible to mount it on an artificial ear on the helmet.Originally posted by xionite View Postneat looking n all...
but for a motorcyclist... it would require you to ride without a helmet.

Jokes apart, IMO Looxcie is more easier to mount on the helmet that most other camcorders.

damn ! how did i miss this one with continuous updates on fb from ketan...
good to see all the videos here ketan...but its simply not fair ! you havent mentioned anywhere not even once about your mount
By the way even i have been doing some R&D on this since long.I have placed the camera almost at all places and i feel the best place to mount it is the Helmet. The best view and the least number of vibrations.
This is one of the videos i posted on FB about 9months back..
_nln_ 's Helmet Cam1
And then Republic day Ride-Amby Valley1
The next one Ketan definitely must not be remembering cause in the entire duration of 5mins of that video he wasnt there for even 5secs !
Republic day ride-Amby valley2
And then some offroading at Amby Valley
Republic day ride-Amby valley-OFFROADINGA very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

And then i made a mount myself of whatever materials i had and clamped it onto the handlebar..
Unfortunately this is the same video when an a$#&%@%* almost killed me when he came onto the other side of the road while i was testing the same camera mount !
Camera Mount-Pulsar135LS
Please excuse me for the pathetic video quality in each video...it was just to test and get a general idea.

Ketan bro, mind if Ishan shares your mount setup here with us?Originally posted by ketan_r15 View PostThanks buddy. That mount set me back by Rs. 50/- + Nut bolt charges
Glad that you liked it. Though it's not as shake free and clear as a go pro, it's at least usable. Shows the speedo readings correctly. But am afraid it'll become slightly more blur at higher RPMs. Am working on it but have little time at hand as I'll be leaving for Ladakh in next couple of days(Hopefully). You can meet me in Delhi to see the mount itself
as we'll be staying in Delhi for a day or two
Got the clear visor fitted just now. Will record another video in the afternoon and post it. Let's see if there's any improvement after the slight modification.

If not, Ishan please share the pics and the procedure with us too. It will be nice to know that

Can you please tell ,me the battery life of the camera and the place where you bought that camera?Originally posted by ketan_r15 View PostWill try to post a few pics tomorrow
Be careful with your device. Too much vibrations can cause some serious damage to the camera/phone. Is that a Kodak action/sports camera?

That's not a special camera my friend. That's an ordinary point and shoot camera. Mount can hold any camera with the standard tripod adapter.Originally posted by saipranav View PostCan you please tell ,me the battery life of the camera and the place where you bought that camera?

Here's a latest video. This time with a clear front visor. Well it's not as vibe free/shake free as other dedicated sports cameras like Gopro but I can't expect anything more from a Rs. 50 /- Camera mount
Still pretty much usable IMO. Best part is I don't have to worry bout the camera/mount falling down as it's very sturdy. Hopefully will use it in Ladakh to capture some of it's beauty in the camera.
