      NGK G-Power on FZ-16

      Hi,

I recently replaced my stock plug with NGK G-Power on my FZ 16. There is definitely an improvement of about 15-20%. Bike starts on the first crank of the key in the cold morning. Pickup is consistent. Will post my observations as the days pass by.

      Thanks.

I am using the same for the last 5000kms for my FZ... i do find the difference in mileage... it's giving 3-4 km/ltr than my stock plug...

and also a good news for the FZ, Unicorn etc. bikes... Iridium IX is available for these bikes now... check the planetDSG site...

It varies from bike to bike!

            Which bike do you ride?

Read the owner's manual. But it's recommended to change both the spark plugs every 10K KMS.

yes. the manual says 10k kms as well but when i took it to the service centre for my 10k service he said if your AFR is just right there will be negligible fouling of the plugs and so you dont need to replace it.just needs to be cleaned and the gap checked.

Changed my ngk conventional spark plugs to ngk g-power spark plugs yesterday. It's really good over the conventional type, Reports will be posted in ownership thread.

n m not sure but change the spark plug doesn't void the vehicle warranty...

Heard that R15's recommended model CR8EIX is suitable for Unicorn.
Has anyone tried it? How is the result ?
