I was checking reviews about the service done by Khivraj and kalyani Bajaj in Bangalore and most threads are about how they cheated the owners by changing parts or not servicing the bike properly.

I used to own 2 pulsars and a avenger 3 years ago, till i upgraded to a z250. Now that I'm going back to pulsars I dont know any good service centers since the old one is closed.

Can anyone in Bangalore tell me any nice authorized centers they give their bikes to.. Also how good are the castrol bike centers in the city.

Good service center for TVS APACHE in Hyd

        Hi,

I own a TVS Apache 150 which needs servicing. I moved to Hyd couple of months back & got it serviced twice at MDH racing. But the servicing is not that good. Do you guys recommend any other service center? I know there are lot of TVS pros in Hyd. Even non authorized service centers will do if they re tried and tested.

        Thanks!
        Regards
        Muks

Any good Mechanic, along GST Rd., Chennai?

Guys...does any one know any good mechanic shop, along the GST road or, near by areas [Airport to Tambaram area]? If anyone has tried servicing Pulsar 220 in those areas, please post your inputs.

best bike mechanics/service centers in Bangalore

I wish somebody can help me here. I am looking for a good service center / mechanic who can service my ZMA R perfectly.
I had been a regular in Majestic mobikes but those guys are more bothered in wheel truing than anything else, but what ultimately happens is the vehicle wobbles the moment I pass a speed braker / pothole (both largely found in Bangalore roads). I have to then stop for a while and get going. The pickup is just worst.
So had to later approach DTW (Shantinagar) initially it was good but in recent times they are more bothered to replace parts. last time I complained that the throttle cable gets struck if the handle bar was turned to right and he without informing replaced the cable in pair. I with great difficulty reach 100KMpH these days in the same path where I easily zipped past 115. My vehicle had hardly done 19K when DTW said there was white smoke and they had to replace the bore kit. I seriously think that there is something messier. I need somebody who would do a proper job.
I have now booked a CBR250R and what now puts me in thought is the Honda service centers are much worst. So what would happen to the bike which is more sophisticated?
                    Any help solicited.

                        Help needed for Unicorn Service

                        Hi guys,

This is my first post here. Hope to get more active from now on.
I've been a proud Unicorn owner since early 2007. But for a reasons I couldn't help my bike has been very rarely used in the last 1.5 years. Rarely means, sometime as bad once in 3 months, coz my bike was in Cochin and I was in Bangalore, even though it was serviced once or twice in between. Now one of my friends rode over the bike to Bangalore and its back with me. I'd like to get a really good service done on the bike coz it was not used for a long period and the Cochin-Bangalore journey which followed. However, my experience with Honda Service has not been great. So please let me know about some really good mechanic in Bangalore, preferably near BTM. Also, let me know if there is anything in particular that I need to take care of.

In addition to this, I would also like to put in dual horns and probably convert electricals to DC and change to a better bulb. Please let me know if this can be done on the Unicorn(ES) stock battery. If so, can you name some good electrician whom I can trust to do this, as I'm not too informed on bike electricals.

                        Thanks in advance,
                        Govind

Need a good mechanic/workshop/service center for P180 UG3 in Bangalore

I got my bike last serviced at Amba Bajaj in HSR Layout around 3 months back who IMO did a very bad job of it. They replaced the clutch and then for some reason the mechanic told me that clutch replacement was not required so he put back the old clutch set and refilled the oil which he had drained into the bowl. I was not happy about this but after this I could not find time to get the bike serviced again. Meanwhile I had ridden it for about another 300-400 kms and everytime during cold start in the morning the bike would shudder in the 1st gear. As soon as I would put it into 2nd gear the problem would go away. But the engine did not feel free at all. After this I went on a vacation and the bike was lying idle for about 1.5 months until I tried to start it yesterday. The clutch would no longer release. Upon inspection I found that the engine head cover was covered in oil sweat. There is also a good amount of vibration in the front end of the bike which is not so visible in the video which I have attached below. I don't know whether other Pulsar users have seen this. I used to run on 300V but that's like a year back. I have been using 20W50 oil since then. The engine sounded okay though. I started the bike and as soon as I put it on gear the bike stopped. The gear change was very hard so I realized that either the clutch is completely gone or someone must have messed up the adjustment when I was not around. To shift a gear now I have to rev up the engine and quickly engage the clutch and put it into gear as fast as possible and release the clutch as fast as possible. The bike jumps forward as soon as put into gear and it's very hard to shift the upper gears.

                                Accessories for Enfield Thunderbird

                                Hi,

Is there any good and big shop for Enfield Thunderbird accessories in Bangalore. In J C Road there is one to 2 small shops, one is Sandhya and the other is Perfect Spares and Accessories.

Any other good place where i can do alterations to my Enfield Thunderbird with the accessories displayed. Means a complete place where i can buy and at the same time fit the accessories.

                                Thanks,
                                Amit
