looking for a good pulsar mechanic in hyderabad
I have '06 150cc pulsar which is too good to dispose. I have nt ridden it much for various reasons. just 40k in6 years.
since past year or so, it feels like rear wheel is shaking and some times gives the scare while riding. feels like its voluntarily changing lanes in the middle of the ride. I took it atleast 2outside mechanics and 2 authenic showroom guys. no one is able to diagnose.
The engine is too good and I have no inclination to sell it though I own a TBTS now. I love the ride/ergonomics of it even now.
Can someone here recommend a good pulsar mechanic in Hyderabad? Have you heard of such a problem?

[QUOTE=abdelazeez;345782]How 'bout someone in Pune? Anybody know a good mechanic in Pune?Originally posted by excalibur72 View PostChamber Jose,Near Kaloor Stadium (ask near stadium round about anyone will guide you)

I know of Nigel from Automorphs, but then he's mostly in to cosmetic mods and I'm looking for something in the performance domain. BTW I've seen he and his team do some amazing cosmetic mods to a Pulsar, an Avenger, and a CBZ. The guy's good at his work I must say.
It will be very helpful if you could provide his Contact No and complete Address

Hi mate,Originally posted by nirban885 View Post@pranjal!!
in kolkata... theres a mechanic opposite to NAVA NALANDA school in Southern Avenue. The wizard of bikes really. Most of the Pulsar 220s i know, get their work done from there at very cheap rates. Eg: just Rs. 100/- for installing KnN filter and upjetting. The guy knows a lot specailly on the performance domain
GUYS anyone knows any place for good genuine cosmetic modifications in Kolkata??
Can you get the mechanic's Name, Contact No, and a good landmark to his address ?
Cheers,

Thanks
Thanks a lot. Had left my RTR 180 @Vinod Motors. Mr Kanna has done a good job servicing my bike very well. I guess he does a good job with 4-strokes also.Originally posted by karthikdattag View PostI moved back to B'lore 4Yrs ago & was in search of a very good, reputed, trustable & dedicated tuner for my 2-stroke collection, which includes a couple of RX135 5-Speeds, a TVS Scooty & the mighty RD350.
I met this guy back then in Sheshadripuram (Link road) & i was quite impressed with his work. He is not much of a talker, but more of result oriented kind of a guy. You need xyz in terms of performance, he will give it to you & most importantly he is not a rip off.
By far the most talented & dedicated guy i have come across for 2-strokes, not that he is not into 4-strokes, but as far as major engine mods are concerned, nothing beats a 2-stroke.
Any 2-stroke fanatic wanting to get in touch with him, request you to go through the below thread as all the work done on these two bikes are by this very gentleman.

Below are the details:
Workshop Name: Vinod Motors
Tuner: Kanna
Number: +91-80-23600624
Location: Mathikere
In case of any doubts please do feel free to drop in a PM, i will be more than gald to help the 2-stroke community.
Thanks.
Also saw an R-15, for which kanna had fixed a FFE(imported) was quite impressive.. I hope he keeps up his good work going for long. thanks to kanna n karthikdattag for posting it.Abhishek N Rai

Yes, I know one guy, he stays in Jaipur, has even the same name as yours & lives in your apptOriginally posted by rameshmadhavan View PostCan you suggest a good mechanic who has good knowledge about Yamaha, who can upgrade my 6V to 12V & install a CDI for me in Jaipur
Dai, its no rocket science. Just look at the socket of the CDI & buy a matching wiring harness of Minda. Rest everything will fall in place. Call me if you need any help. You can save some money by doing it by yourself & ofcourse, get to know things.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

1st thing to be done - 6V to 12V
CDI / Wiring Kit, 90/100 lights
tell me step by step, i will do it, had a message to Chinoy (RDD) he had suggested to go with stock CDI instead of RDD CDI.Never Give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about.

Will try to recall as I'm almost out of touch
1. Get Rx100's 12V magnet & stator plate (alternatively you can get RDD CDI kit also)
2. Remove the seat & tank & observe (welcome to take pics with camera too) how the existing wiring harness is connected
3. Disconnect 4 turn lights, headlight, horn, pilot lamps, CDI, magnet coil's socket & rear tail lamp connections
4. Remove the clutch side casing cover, remove the magnet & the stator
5. Fit the new stator & magnet & close the casing cover
6. With the help of your notes (or pics) assemble the wiring connection backSkill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Check out Seshan, refer my name (Ramesh Madhavan from jaipur), am sure he would take care of the bike as his own and provide good service (He spends high, if you need to be economical, you have to tell him before hand that you are budget constraint)Originally posted by men_in_jean View PostYet again a similar query from my side(again for a friend).
