Convert AC/DC bike to ALL DC.

Hi,
While reading through the blogs for converting AC/DC i read that some bikes have their stator in some oil. So i wanted to know how to check if my stator is oil dipped or not. If it is oil dipped then how do I open the stator casing?? I own a Hero Impulse.

What will happen if i upgrade my 7 pole stator of hero impulse to a 12 pole stator of the honda dazzler?? Will it cause extra strain on the bikes engine??

Guys i just want to run 60/55w bulb in my cbz xtreme, is it really neccessary to rewind the coil ????

A friend is using it on his CBR Xtreme without any issues.

I tried 55/60 in my friend's Xtreme, but the bulb did not glow to its max.

hi guys
i too want to convert to DC , my bike RTR160
when i consulted bike electrician in our neighborhood he says just plugin hid bulb that connects directly to battery that it
but when i see this thread there are lot of things to be done ie ape RR, rewinding and
with my low knowledge i cant educate him either
so guys can anyone explain briefly
why ape rr used
how much volts stock generates
how much with rewinding etc

Do you want to convert xtreme to full DC? If so get
1.300gms of 18.5 gauge wire and varnish
2.APE RR unit
3. some tools

Guys this is the re-winded stator coil(12 poles) of Honda dazzler with 18 gauge wire. They have mentioned it's capable to produce up to 300 watts (around 21 amps) if we use Ape RR with this, is it true??? This is the same coil my twister is also having, so if i rewind it with 18 gauge wire, is it possible to get at least 200 watts.

I'll check the battery. My doubt is If RR is not in good condition it'll not give the juice to horn & HID correct. But in my case all the electrical are working fine while driving only thing battery ll get drain when not in use.

there is problem with the battery it has happened with me before battery was tata green but my would discharge if it is left unused for 24 hours.
