I'll check the battery. My doubt is If RR is not in good condition it'll not give the juice to horn & HID correct. But in my case all the electrical are working fine while driving only thing battery ll get drain when not in use.Originally posted by sajjt View Post

Check the battery at a battery shop, I guess u need a replacement, if its OK then check for the RR which is not easy to check except replace with a new one and observe. Hope there's no loose wires in contact with chassis.Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostYa checked the charging rate it's giving decently around 6-7 amps max. even if i'm not using HID & HORN the battery is still getting drain. The issue is battery can not able to store the current. Is there any method to regain the battery storage capacity

no idea about thatOriginally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostYa checked the charging rate it's giving decently around 6-7 amps max. even if i'm not using HID & HORN the battery is still getting drain. ok first check the changing amps with a multimeter.Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostFriends now bike battery is getting drain in long ideal standing, If i use it continuously no problem but if i kept it ideal for more than 5hrs then i've too kick start the bike

But in a running time the charging rate is really good it's can easily give the juice to blow my 4A horn by hearing this sound even the trucks also giving me the wide way,
But every morning & evening getting start from home & office i've to kick start the bike
. I'm running HID alone in DC but not often use & the Halogen is on AC supply only.
Is my battery got over or something else
rewind your coil first or unground.Originally posted by rcmadawala View PostHello guys,
Currently i am having a pulsar 200 DTSi (White taco meter ). No modifications has done yet. I need to fit a HID projector lamp to it. So after going through this thread, i realized,
First, i need to convert my bike to DC (convert whole bike electrical system to DC or at least part of it)
Then, mount the HID projector lamp
Can some one guide me step by steps to these modifications

ug 4 rr can give max of 5.6amps so total output would beOriginally posted by joshdsy View PostWill a pulsar ug4 rr handle a 55/60watt bulb(with rewinding).. till i can source a n ape rr? Can anyone guide me where can i get a ape rr here in Mumbai... iv tried at the Mahim ape showroom/service station. . and a lot of 3 wheeler shops selling spares ..
around 67 watts. Headlight takes 60watts and tail lamp would take 5 watts another 5-10 watts for meter and fuel meter,5 watts for parking bulb so if the bike is only driven at night than it won't be able to handle a 55/60 watts bulb.

For DC conversion Shreeni has done an excellent tut, but what about swapping the RR with another AC+DC RR which is totally different from the Honda breeds? U need more readingOriginally posted by sooraj_vs View PostI got all the information from this thread itself. In the very first post, a Uni is DCfied. Hunk has the same coil and electricals. If what I ve understood is wrong, please do correct me.
BTW, another random thought I had was, put a switch parallel to the pass switch. This way, both filaments can be powered simultaneously. Low beam from the head light coil and high beam from the battery, which will be charged by the other poles of the coil. What will be the effects if I do so..? Will it drain out the battery..?
Ofcourse u can go for that anytime at the expense of bike performance when the battery drains which I wont suggest. It can be used for flashing purpose without any issues as the drain will be compensated without much delay in stock conditions but if u use it for visibility.... u may have a tough time with miss firing..

HH has got a different wiring pattern from Bajaj so u should know what u r doing before splicing of wires. U need to identify which wire goes to where as its not a direct fit job. If u screw something, u can soke the harness or ur bike wont start once the battery is flat.
U need to rewind the coil with a center tapping (say 2L:1B) to use the AVY/Pulsar non BCU model RR.

I want to plonk a 55/60W bulb in my 2011 Hunk.
Going through this thread and my earlier queries, I ve found that there are 2 options.
1. Rewind the lighting coil and put avenger RR
2. Convert to DC and put Ape RR. ( I believe no need of rewinding here as xtreme/zma stator is wound for 140W. Correct me if I m wrong )
Now which one will you suggest..?
( I prefer the first one coz it wil be easy on pocket, doesnt interfere with the battery at all, and I am not presently thinking of HID as it is out of budget.)
Do guide me guys..

no u can't fit two 60w bulbs and also u cannot fit 100w bulb as it would fry the stock reflector...Originally posted by sooraj_vs View PostThank u for the quick reply.
Actually, the reason I said 60W is that I ve two such bulbs with me, and also, anything above that might burn the reflector.
Is there any solution to this..?
I mean, if i cud fit two 60W or a 100W, i would like to do it.

Thank u for the quick reply.Originally posted by rprathin View Posti would suggest 1 as you only want 55/60 watts bulb and nothing else(hid) so no sense in converting it to dc..
