I dont know if changing of oil filter in every service is mandatory or not but in my nearby SC i have seen that every fz's oil filter is changed at every service for something around Rs.55 . Dont worry about changing the filter as most of the engine oils are miscible. Change it according to your manual.Originally posted by dude_phenom View PostThanks dude. yes I do have a FZ. But I haven't changed my oil filter like ever. The SVC dudes too didnt mention it to me. Must get it changed during the next service.

No buddy, that is not the one I'm referring to. That 15w50 oil is semi-synth&costs ~Rs.430 p.l. I have been using it on my R15.Originally posted by dude_phenom View PostThe FS oil is for R15 and not for FZ as it is a xxW50 oil. However my SVC reco'ed and put the Agip FS oil for me. And it cost me Rs 660. Is this what you are referring to?
I heard about someone who filled in 10w40 fully synthetic oil on the FZ thread. I asked him for more details, but didn't get any reply.
Use the search feature, maybe you can locate that post.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Thanks for the linkOriginally posted by madhav krishna View Postfor castrol power 1 racing(synthetic) check this http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...r1-racing.html
I dont have any experience of castrol in RTR but i had used the power 1 (semi synth) in my dio & am satisfied by its performance.

I have a P135. I am looking to switch to FS oil at my next service which will be around 7.5k. Coz I think by then the engine will sufficiantly ran in! Currently I'm on Motul 3000 20W50(mineral) from the 1st service..
The reason for the switch to FS is, there are no SS oils available here in Sri lanka, only FS in Mobil & Motul. If I could find a good SS, like Motul 5100 15W50, I would definitely go for it. Only Motul 300V is the option as Mobil 4T Racing comes in xxW40 grade..
So guys, I am a little curious coz there are cases of head leaking with motul in pulsars
.. The Double Easter in Motul 300V recommends chemically resistant valves but suprisingly valves in Pulsar are not chemically resistant to Easter so it might cause leak! That's what I learnt! So I'm a little skeptical if I use Motul 300V xxW50 in my P135, whether it cause any leaks
Please shed some light on this! Will P135 leak with Motul 300V 15W50??
I strongly appreciate your ideas guys.. Thank you in advance..

just now contacted motul dealer for 5100 10w40 , he said w40 not coming
is it true motul has stopped 5100 10w40 oil!
and funnily he saying our hyd vehicles doesn't need w40 and w50 work well
for our whether conditions.
and w50 might be over kill for dio where big H also moved to w30 grade
so is there any other options left
