I am still a bit confused about which oil to use in my RTR 160
Should I stick to the recommended grade or should I change to 20wxx grade?

What Is The Difference B/W The Grades Of Valvoline Champ And Premium ? Both xxw-50 ?
If Yes I Would Better use The Premium One

Champion 20w40 mineral
Premium 20w50 semi synthetic

using ax7 for the past 4k on my cbz, out of that 1k was a 2day trip,

is it time to drain out and fill in new oil or just top up?

4k kms is too much. Don't even thinknof topping it up. 3k is the max you should do for a healthy engine

Thanks for the info. I already bought the AX7 today. The 50 off coupon got from xBhp alert went in vain as the idiots at the Shell bunk don't have a clue about the coupon and didn't honour it at all. Shell should first send the offer details to their retailers before sending it to the customers.

You can return it or get it exchanged, i had recently bought the wrong grade, returned it and got a full refund because shell doesn't have a xxW50 oil.
Unless you have already poured it in the bike.

The ax5 has a 20w50.

Yes i came across it on the website but unfortunately it was not available at that point of time neither could they arrange for it so i chose to return the ax7.

I bought it intentionally. I have used that multiple times. It's a pretty good oil for RTR.

1.Honda stunner 30k kms done.
2.Bullet classic 350 (is old)
3.pulsar 180 24k kms done.
Plsmention code name and brand also.
Question my friends.

1) stunner needs 20w40 grade 900ml
2) bullet - 20w50 grade 2.5 liter
3) pulsar 20w40 1lt
You can go for veedol, motul, gulf, shell all are very good.

Premium 20w50 semi synthetic

Valvoline champ and champion are different, champion is mineral and champ is semi synthetic.
