Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Re: Engine Oils
Oh crap, here we go again. Guys Mobil 1 is FS too. I mentioned it because the HONDA 150 was using FS so I stated that and then suggested 5100 SS and 300 FS, my typo was 300V was made to SS with on the go typing. Please guys let's not drag anymore. Mistakes happen, and it's so kind of you guys pointing one after another. Thanks.

Cheers!

Re: Engine Oils
Thanks for those suggestions. 'll try to source them and get back here with usage feedback.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostWhy not switch to SS for a while and see the difference. Try Mobil1 Racing or Motul 5100 SS and 300V SS though the 300V would be an overkill for your bike, these both are avlbl in the 10w40 grades.

Re: Engine Oils
Use 7100 20W50. If its leaking, the problem is in bike.. Oils dont leak even if you use w40 in w50 recommendation. They do get burnt but doesn't leak.Originally posted by forceedge View PostWanted to know if Castrol power 1 Racing 10W50 is good for Pulsar 220??? I am feared of leaks, as is the case with Motul FS.

Ha Ha Ha, that funny, you know, I read about this issue here only... Never seen one though... was asking for clarifications... my initial thoughts were the same as yours, but confusions confusions... People even said that specifically Pulsars are allergic to Motul FS due to Ester tech...Originally posted by muztariq View PostUse 7100 20W50. If its leaking, the problem is in bike.. Re: Engine Oils
I remember a post by antz.bin on the same topic. His opinion was the gaskets on pulrsars need to be replaced as per recommendations or else the FS oil leaks. Similar problems are reported in RTRs. But we cant blame the oil for that. We cant blame the equipment manufacturer too as the oil does not leak when you use manufacturer recommended oil!

Re: Engine Oils
But all of us knows that FS's are thinner and Ester is basically an organic substance...

I am asking this for clarifications & user experience with the same oil.
