He is talking about the rubber head cover gasket... it costs 50to 100 bux for most bikes. And its pretty easy to replace but then again it should not go bad that often. If its becoming hard that quickly snd its leaking its because
    A) you engine is running too hot,,
    B) your not installing it properly I.e without gasket sealent etc.
    C) the quality of the product is below par
First time my head beading was replaced was at 58 thousand kms.
Now I take care of my bike like its my child lol
But it should last you 10 to 15 k odd kms

I have used MAK NXT engine oil and found it go be real good. Had used the oil for about 2k kms and drained it. Although, the oil can be used above 2k kms easily.

          Cheerz!

Servo engine oil is a good engine oil flush:banghead:
              Put it in..
              Ride for 20kms and drain
              Then add a good oil.
The oil is utter rubbish in front of gulfs motuls etc but for thr price its what you get. I havent tried the servo synthetic oil.
Mak I have never used in my p150 classic.
The classic is very choosy of engine oils thanks to the gearbox...

                    Dear Folks,

I am facing a typical problem with my engine oil. Some 4000kms back my piston block has to be changed as it was damaged badly due to low engine oil. However during that period I was using Semi Synthetic (Motul 15w50) engine oil , and was only 1900km done. After taking the remaining oil out it was observed that around 400ml of oil came out. No leakage of oil was there anyways. Now my piston block set is new. I am using Motul 20w50 , I have been using this through out. During that incident it was for the first time I shifted to Semi Synthetic oil. Now yesterday for a check I went to change my engine oil. I have covered only 1000km. To my surprise only 500ml of oil came out. Again there's no sign of leakage. However I have changed the oil and this time for a change I have shifted to Fully Synthetic 20w50. I will keep an eye for next 1000km. So as to see how the engine behaves. however when i took it to ASC where I have changed my piston block said that the engine head needs to be opened and rechecked what the problem is. I told them to wait for another 1000km then we will do it if the problem is still there. However I am solely clueless how the engine oil is disappearing! My engine heats up pretty fast and some times make me feel it's gonna fry my legs. Also when going above 80kmph with pillion my engine makes some different sound apart form what its natural sound is. I have to listen minutely to understand there's a grrrrrrr sound coming, and it happens only I am going north of 80kmph. Any idea what the problem can be??

When you have covered only 1000 kms why do you take your bike to 80kmph with a pillion?

The bike shouldn't be taken more than 5k rpm and its not advisable to ride with a pillion.

I have done around 25000km. From the beginning my drain interval was around 1500km and after first servicing I was using Motul 20w50. I have used the same till 17000km. After that I thought of shifting to Motul 15W50 semi synthetic. the drain interval of the same I suppose is around 3000km, but unfortunately my engine gone kaput after using the oil for 1900km only. Now I am unable to figure out the problem. It's not that my engine is new. The run in for new engine and new piston block has been completed religiously. So I don't see any problem with run in , as it is done properly.

During the piston block change I have changed the piston head with rings. Its only 4000km now after changing them. Now which rings are you referring to? And one more thing came to my notice that it was a period when I covered 12000km. One day I went for a engine oil change after using the same for 1400km. The mechanic who was suppose to change it almost scolded me like for how much km did I use that oil. he wasn't ready to agree that I have used that oil for 1400km only. So I believe the problem was since beginning. But it never came to the picture as my drain period is quite short.

After piston block change I have completed run in for the first 1000km. That is I didn't take it beyond 4000rpm and 45kmph.
