Do not worry my friend, compression loss and worn piston rings etc happen to every vehicle at some point of its life.
Go to a good mechanic and ask for a parts list required for a complete bore piston change.
Rebores are usually screwd up by mechanics but sometimes they do a good job too. Now its not worth the risk unless you trust the mechanic.
Buy the parts and pay the mechanic for labour only,
Use a mineral oil after the job to aid run in then you may switch to semi synthetics....

Hey Everyone,
I wanted to know that how long is the shelf life of these oils? There's no use before date mentioned on the packaging. The person I buy from has some old stock(2013) left which is around 100rs cheaper than the new prices. Thinking of stocking up on that.

Shelf life is around 3-5 yrs. Where is this shop in Pune? Which oil's stock is that person having?

Thanks, I should stock up at least a few cans more then The shop is in Akurdi, City Oil Company. It's the authorised vendor for Motul. I bought 3 cans of 5100 last week at Rs 550. The new price is Rs 640.

Motul 5100 is 550 in kolkata too
I managed to get a motul 3100 gold for a lot less discount....
Got the bottle for 330 rs,,, mrp was 350
And got a 50 rs coupon inside

Em bypass opposite the new kasba police station you will se a huge motul board.
Old guy sits nd sometimes an old lady! And hell she remembers all grades brands and prices!

^^^ 5100 comes in 2 grades - 10W40 and 15W50.
So yes, it is!

My friend bought a bottle of crapstrol today,,,.
When he was poring it in it kind of smelled funny... and voila.. engine sized half way on the ride home......
Reason....
Engine oil was fake.... and it was gone!
15 min ride and almost 1 liter of engine oil had vanished into thin air!

Almost half the Castrol products available in the market are fake. Buy only if from an authorised seller.

That's impossible. You may not have put the oil or tightened the bolt. My bro's bike rode 35 kms before siezing and there was no oil in it from the word go. In your case oil was reducing. The engine doesnot burn 1 litre fuel in 15 min. It normally takes 30 km or 45 mins to burn 1 l fuel.
A teaspoon of oil in combustion chamber will smoke bomb the vicinity and it cant go unnoticed.

Bro the bike looked like james bonds get away car....
Smoke screen effect!
We were doing 80s and 90s on kona xpressway...
15 to 20 mins in and gone....
We could not stop had to reach a friend who was in need so we kept going with the smoke and f...ed it up,
It was thin like water when we were pouring it in... some oil did come out it was like negligible....
(What I ment by vanished into thin air was because smoke does vanish into thin air! Dhue jaise hawa mein urr jana.... is what I ment but English mein hindi kahawat is a big no from today!)
