Been using Power One Racing on my Fz for 6 months now and for sure not reverting to Motul again. Imho, a super smooth oil and the bike literally glides around. Heating has stayed totally under control too in torrid Calcutta summers. Only drawback I think is a relatively short drain interval... On my mechanic's advice, I change it every 2500-3000kms.

            • Good Engine Oil for Royal Enfield ThunderBird 350 (UCE)

              Hi,

I believe the topic is not discussed in this forum before. Even it was please do not block this question because I have some special query.

Two days before I took my Bird to JAF mechanic in chennai and they have introduced me a new engine oil (Which I havent heard before) called "Wurth". They quoted me the price Rs.920 (3L cane). But with much hesitation I didnt choose as it was not well known to me.

This is my first visit to JAF as I was servicing my Bird in ASC, OMR, Chennai till now.

So anybody here used Wurth engine oil for their Royal Enfield? If so, Could you please share your review.

Also kindly let me know which engine oil is best for Royal Enfield apart from Motul

              Thanks

This isn't a bike oil. It is Car Engine Oil. Avoid using it in motorcycle.

Wurth is a German company, surely you can give it a try , apart from motul can try gulf pride 4t 20w50.

Car oil's are just meant to protect the engine unlike Motorcycle oil's where the oil has to safeguard clutch and engine together.

Hi..try out shell remula instead of shell helix because HDEOs have positive results on 4 stroke bike engines. This topic has been discussed in detail in this thread and many of us have used it.

Have been using motul300 in my R15v1 since the past 4 months.. there has been better acceleration and reduced vibrations but the engine feels kinda stressed when revved hard ie its not smooth like mineral.. had been using the mineral yamaha lube since 2008.. Should I keep using synthetic or downgrade to semisynthetic from motul like 7100?? Any other suggestions...

Guy's since scooters come with dry clutch and separate gear box ,can we use car engine oils like shell helix hx5 15w40...my only concern is it safe to use car oils on scooters which run on high rpm's ..please share your views.
