And if u find that 300V is expensive, go for Motul 5100 Semi Synthetic (15W50).
appreciate your reply bro. But someone must be purchasing it from a particular shop right..

          And expensive?

          This 3000 4T hardly costs 175+ bucks.
Dude, as I'd clearly mentioned, it turns out to be expensive because its not an extended drain product. So while Motul 30004T is ment to last for perhaps 2 k km or so, Gulf/Elf can last for about 5 - 6 k km. So its an average product which actually turns out to be much more expensive than its better counterparts!!

          • Guys yesterday i changed my bikes(FZ16) engine oil on her 4th service to yamalube semi synthetic oil... i have noticed few changes such as the gear shifting became butter smooth... as FZ has very very spongy clutch and now with the smooth gear it's really smooth... and also i have noticed the bike smooth at higher rpm's... it's worth the money man...

thanks @DOGG for ur valuable help...

            • ^^^ Its always a good idea to mention which oil you are comparing it with. For eg. if you are comparing it with some unknown gooo that the service centre puts in, then maybe anything else will seem better.

                    • hey guys
can you tell me from where i can buy valvoline champ 4t 20w40 (synth. blend) ?
                      in dlehi/ ncr region . . . . ..
                      thank you
The Automotive batteries are designed to work best in a typical short start-stop fashion.
So to increase the life of your automobile battery, blow the horn and flash the pass light in a quick start stop fashion instead of a conitnuous long horn blow or flash light continuous on!!
And obviously don't stretch the self start far too long.

No way, upto my 3rd service it cost only 170Rs/- for the service, they cannot afford the price for a syn/semi syn version. for yamalube semi syn version it costs 415Rs/-

                        • AFAIK - about 1.5 years ago a couple of the BAL service stations here in Jayanagar area (Popular is one of them ) starting using Valvoline Barrel Oil. I don't know if it was 20W40 or 20W50. I assumed they had chosen Valvoline as the supplier.

I have heard they use Valvoline in many service centers now - beyond that I don't know much since I am not a customer of BAL anymore (gladly so I might add..).

BTW - generally speaking , Valvoline Premium 4T 20W50 SemiSynth oil still rocks. Recommended for any bike that is requried to run on 20W50.

re :Agip - I have no idea.
