For synthetic, u have Motul 300v 5W40. It s the best synthetic oil by far. It would easily last 6k+ kms on the Activa. Costs around 750 bucks per litre.

I dont recommend the Castrol iterations, from my personal experience.

If u want semi synthetic, u have Vavoline Champ 4T, Veedol Super Swift, Gulf Pride 4T , etc. These would be better than mineral based ones and cost a little more.

If u want to use a mineral, it s good if u stick to Honda's OEM oil itself.
When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

    • Has anyone tried the new oil being offered by Savita Chemicals under its own brand name, Savsoil? The link makes an interesting read.

Savita Chemicals manufactures HH oil under license from Idemitsu.

Just go back a few pages and u have what all u want. The disco requires a 20W40. Any xW40 can be used(x < 20)

I have used both Castrols in my P150. Best is Valvoline P4T (20W50) among the 2 valvolines and the 2 Castrols.

Has anybody used it? Would be interesting to know how it performs esp. when compared to Gulf Pride.

What is missing on the site is the drain period. If anybody has checked out the bottle, please tell us if the drain period is mentioned. Pics of the bottle would be very welcome.

                              • hey guys! i been using volvoline semi-synthetic since 4-6K KMS for my Pulsar200.
The performance have been good, an i am satisfied. Now just today my mechanic is giving me an offer of Castrol Active 4t 10W50 (its full synthetic) free with service. I want to go for it, it may be good but i have one doubt. In my next service if i switch back to semi-synthetic volvoline,, will it be a problem. will it affect my cluch??
