dear, friends plz suggest me the best engine oil for my pulsar 150. i am a city rider as well as a tourer and most of all my riding zone during touring was between the hills.

I am totally fed up of Valvoline 4T Premium. 306 bucks and a Set Wet get fair cream free.

It seems to have become a really sick joke so far. I need ideas on other 20W50 oils easily available in Gurgaon/South Delhi. Any ideas?

Try the Gulf Pride or Yamalube.

Try the Motul 5100 15W50. If you dont plan riding regularly to real cold places, this should work instead of the 20w50.

I dont know about Delhi.

In Bangalore arvindraju has talked to a distributor who has promised to give it at a low cost if we buy in bulk -- about 12+ cans of 1L each.

Anybody in Bangalore interested, please PM me or arvindraju and we can get an estimate else I plan buy it retail cause I will need to change in a couple of weeks

I'm using it for the past 3 weeks now. Pretty good oil.
I made a fool of myself by using Castrol Power 1 Racing for my P180. was using the wrong grade for like 8k kms.
5100 is nice I would say. Maybe from the first few days i found it rough because I shifted from fully synth to Semi synth.
Frequency of oil change.. well ahmm. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Wish it lasts ~ 3000km.

I have been using it for about 3000kms now in my Avy. The engine is smoother, the gear shifts are not, I dont know if its due to the oil or pathetic Bajaj gearbox.
What I have noticed though is that it does require frequent topups. For instance, till now I have topped up approximately 400ml for 1.4L capacity. I dont know if this is specifically my bike or its normal
