Hi,
I am sure, this must have been asked and answered in the previous 100 odd pages of this thread, however, since I am in office and cannot go hunting, I am asking again.
I am making a switch from Semi Synthetic to Synthetic today evening after office, probably Motul, not yet decided.
Q1. Is it required for me flush the engine?
Q2. What is the correct method to flush the engine?
Thanks,
MaSh

. No, I am not planning to flush my engine, just asked the correct method, after seeing the Diesel treatment. I would just have the current Castrol 4T drained out and replaced with a Synthetic one.
after a long research i zeroed in petronas 5000 which is fully synthetic n cheaper dan other brands, from past one week i searched for dis bloody not so famous but a very gud oil all over bangalore wasting my fuel n time.
i decided to go for motul 300v as it was d second best option but d desire to buy sprinta was still burning my heart. wen i's comin back home from my col reunion i had to drop my friend back home n on d way i jus managed to see a petronas poster outside an automobile shop, i stopped right there n asked for d same, d guy in dat shop din even knw d name of d product n he called his owner to attend me, n luckily dat owner gave me wat i wanted n told it was d last bottle he had !!! i payed 420rs but d mrp was 447! i felt like i's on top of petronas towers
cos i cud beat an avenger 180 wid k&n n an apache 180! v wevt for a drag for about 5kms n yeah i won it, but all of us reached a max of 120kmph. d engine is butter smooth, smoother dan a normal uni wid mineral oil
