+1 does motul india have this grade in semi synth form???

300V comes in 5W40 as well.. You can use that for xW40 grade bikes..

I know bro used the 5W 40 300v for close to 8000Kms but the 10W 300v lasts much longer.Even the semi 10W 40 motul lasts more than the 5W 300v(one online site that was selling the oil states strict oil change interval of 3000kms) i change it every 4000kms.Moreover the semi costs only 400 bucks.

Just want to review Motul Mineral Oil i have been using it since last 1.7k kms and its still smooth and better heat protection against yamalube so +1 to motul. Nice oil and it will at least last few more kms.

Actually 5100 is indeed SS. And 300v is FS

Today went to motul godown in chennai, Mr joseph says there is no 10W 40 semi synthetic oil from motul in india only 300V.Even the 300V 10W 40 version of the motul was not in stock.He says he can import 5100 10W 40 but i have to take all the 12 bottles.

in delhi they are readily available on the shelves. Should I give you number of the importers of motul?....maybe they might help you.

I knew it mr joseph was lying through the teeth, he even talked to someone in bombay and said "motul india never imported semi in 10w 40 version EVER", he told me the 50 grade motul 300v will be perfect for my xtreme .I am fed up with this guy please give the no. i will talk to them i need at least 3 cans immediately.

After talking to Mr joseph I went straight away to goodwill agency(opposite to chief minister's house) he too did not have 10W 40 motul not even the mineral version.He talked to joseph in front of me about the semi 10w 40 even then mr joseph was saying it was not available in india anywhere .Goodwill agencies is also the distributor of NGK so i bought a G-power plug for Rs200 instead of motul and came back home.

hi guys . im really pissed with the crappy oil they have given frm the svc at first service..have decided of chaging it.
i went arnd whole of karol bagh & okhla (auto hubs in delhi) lookin for a 20w50 oil..
NOT ONE ! strangely not one shop could cater to me :O all of them had either 20w40 oils or gtx/gulf car oils with rating 20w50 which they were tryn to push sell to me.. i wonder what the innumerable pulsar owners i see on the road have been using all these days.. how can there be no demand for a 20w50 mineral oil when there are so many pulsars on road??
if all of the owners have been using wrong oil all these years, no wonder pulsars need engine work done on them pretty early.. Cant blame bajaj completely for that..
please guys, tell me where can i get hold of some good e.oil in delhi?
i want to change tomorrow.

Actually 20w50 is not so popular brand. Only Valvoline is readily available and that is what SVC guys fill your machine with. You can change to Motul 5100 15W50 or 300v FS 15w50.....If you want motul then call Mr. Ashish whose number is there few posts back, and I'll recommend you 300v.

Well the sooner you change to FS the better it is. You can change to SS if it seems skeptic to you. Mr. Ashish is stockist of Motul in Delhi. You can call him and he will help you to find the shop near you or even may deliver it to you.

Dude, Why dont you stick to Service centre oil atleast for 2 services or 2000km.If you want to really change , Castrol is available at that rating 20W50(ACTIV XTRA - 20W-50 Mineral oil).
