Thanks for the reply sir.Its a new bike,around 4300kms on odo,recommended grade is 20w40.The temperature is 32C during day and ridden in low traffics.As it is a rev free engine which oil should be the best?He did not have good experience with motul.

Try Gulf or Elf or Valvoline if all three aren't available try CASTROL

Whats its SAE grade?
And what are its components?

your are asking for components,
could you pls tell me what are the components in a synthetic oil or normal oil,
you may say bla.... bla.... bla ..... searching the net,
but the compnents in the gtoil cant be disclosed,
all i can say its a ingredients of plant oil and some herbs

MSN1'jee is right . I think 20w40 oil (which is your recomended grade too) is absolutely ok for your friends bike for this climate . Please explain "did not have good experience" .. what was the specific problem with motul 20w40 ? Any feelings ?

Yes , few cases of oil leaks reported with FS oils . Keep an eye on the engine , around the joints and gaskets , dust will accumulate in the area of a leak . But don't worry about it an advance .. oil leaks because of FS oil is very rare .. else FS oils would not have become so popular worldwide as it is now .

We used to use a mix of Castor oil and synthetic oils for those motors , which ran on spiked methanol . Castor oil is so tenacious and oily , that metal once exposed to it cannot be fully cleaned off the oil ever , unless you take it to lathe to shave off the surface . It is also very very low friction .. which is why it is still in wide use among RC enthusiasts , despite all companies coming up with synthetic alternatives . Only problem with it is the gum it forms in the engine , we have to take the RC engines apart after every flying day to clean that thoroughly . That would not be practicable in a bike engine . But let us keep out minds open and see ..
Bio oils like castor oil is no longer viable with some of the high performance engines... my friend has a variety of model Aircraft, and Heli engines including Jet engines, and we had found the Motul synth 2 T oil to have very superior qualities with zero Gum and residue formation.If you or any of your friends have RC engines please do pass on this info.

If this GT oil indeed stands up to it's claims then this would be of immense help to every roadgoing vehicle, let alone us bikers. But right now we need an official or unofficial, unbiased performance analysis report for the product. What makes us suspicious is the way you are talking about the ingredients. I seem to recall many years back I saw in newspapers, a guy named romor pillai claimed to have invented a fuel better than petroleum products, but close scrutiny proved it to be a hoax. No offense, but this situation looks quite the same.....

Last jan-feb 2011 when I was there to watch RC flying in Maidan here , they are all still using either pure castor oil (expensive imported de-gummed castor oil, which still gums a little) or a mix of synthetic and castor . I'll ask them about this 2t idea . The synthetic oil in use is also imported castrol or motul , specific for these engines .

Do not shift to synthetic early like that . Bedding & polishing of parts to operational tolerances is an important part of the engines early life which you do not want to stunt . The designers of the engine has taken into consideration this initial wear so the engine shall not achieve full performance specification of the design , unless correctly worn now . Run FS oil from beginning only if the engine comes pre-filled with FS from factory . Then the required tolerances are already build-in .
Oil leak due to Synthetic oil has nothing to do with whether you shift to it early or after 20000 Kms . Oil seeping past engine casing seals and gaskets is a different matter altogether from oil leaking past piston rings inside the cylinder . Different remedies too .
The only 100% way to avoid such leaks happening is to buy a bike that comes pre-filled with synthetic oil from factory and the manufacturer specifies synthetic oil for it in the owners manual .

Valvoline 4T premium (synthetic-blend) 20w50 ,Gulf pride 4T 20w50 , BPCL MAK 4T/4T Plus/4T excel 20w50 , castrol activ extra 20w50 . Valvoline preferred by pulsar riders in my town .
