      • I had been to Performance racing store last week . i tried out Ride Hard helmet .The S size was too tight could not squeeze my specs through it.Then tried M size which felt little loose but comfortable there was room for my specs too,..which 1 to go for? i have heard the tightness vanishes after few days..Thanks.

I recently bought a KBC Bulldog. For the first few days the fitting was a but tight but as expected it loosened up a bit and its a perfect fit now. Very snug and extremely comfortable.

Without seeing how loose the M size is for you it would be difficult to suggest which one you should go for. Try strapping on the helmet and moving your head left to right / up and down. A correct sized helmet should not have any slack.

          • @zodyac-- who was there at the store? Amit? did he measure your head size? If he is insisting on S, go for S. Even for me S was barely a fit, but once I wore it, it is very snugly and fits as a Helmet should.

            • Yes, the padding takes the shape of your head in a couple of weeks of usage, so its better to go for a snug fit rather than a comfy fit which will eventually become loose.

                Welcome to xBhp KShama!
                I have a query.
I have the older high end model of Vega (I donno what its called) as you can see in my post here: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...tml#post194868
Is it discontinued or still available?
In case it is discontinued, would visors/other spare parts continue to be available for that model too, now that the newer models like Blue Eye, Shadow, LS2 are there in the market?
                Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. As of now I don't need anything-I have a spare visor too, but just wanted to know in case I break some clips or something while changing visors. Since these parts were also available earlier.

                          Oh sure I can!
There is the Vega Eclipse, which is the half face version of the Boolean with double visor.
I use the Studds Marshall though-due to my preference for Studds padding. This is a really comfy&lightweight lid, I have been using since more than 2 years.
There is another model similar to the Marshall, forgot the name-maybe you can check it out on The Helmet Shoppe - Home
Btw, I really like the finishing on the Studds Chrome fullface-its really tempting me, but I won't have space to keep 4 lids!

Thx for the reply and the link
I wear spectacles so the double visor of eclipse would be rarely used.
how would eclipse/marshall hold on to speeds above 80kmph coz i noticed a flap design on marshall which would lift it up with the air drag?

They are fine overall, though the more the speed, the more air flows in from the open face part.
Which is the flap you are referring to-is it the leather one on the sides or the beak kind of thing on top? Anyways both don't move.
I use a helmet cap inside, so that makes it a bit snug fitting.
