guys .. got a New Ls2 Speed helmet .. got it for Rs 2800 .. is it the right buying price ??? and also i got scoyco gloves for 700 buks ..

will upload the pics soon ..

also when i checked online .. the helmet should have the glares(what is it called?) inside which are not there in mine .. should i be getting it that with my helmet or not ?

Would recommend Helmet Paradise from what Blore xbhpians have said. That said look around a couple of shops and see what the rates are and dont forget to negotiate. Good to see that you have done your homework before going in and buying something as important as a helmet.

Which Helmet to buy?

I want to buy a flip up helmet.
As per the helmets i've checked out online and at a nearby wholesaler( A A helmets at Goregaon, Mumbai)- I have narrowed it down to a few which I think are decent.

1) Vega Boolean- wholesaler's ready to sell the plain one for 1450/-
Read a few discussions across forums and a few claim that this helmet does not cancel any noise and its inner padding gets detached easily.Another very interesting point which I had never heard of before- was the easy breaking of the the inner visor lever on the outside with a single fall.
apart from all these fallacies, i yet like the look of the helmet.

2)Studds Ninja- its considered to be the all time favourite-problem associated is the bulkiness of the helmet. Its huge compared to the others. The look doesn't qualify to be the best amongst the others.Apart from that i've not read of any other problem.

3) Aaron Hybrid- Have not read many reviews about this brand or helmet. Is the helmet really safe? the flip up looks like a cheap plastic make in the photo.
It does look good to a certain extent though.

Any other suggestions? My budget is upto 1500/-
Would appreciate a few reviews on these helmets too.

Another concern is the selection of the colour(i want to go for a plain one- no graphics)- the dull black or Matt black as its called in certain brands- does is get scratched easily?does dust stick on to it easliy?

What's up with the quality of Vega helmets. Did anyone of you find it decreasing?

I mean, I went to a reputed helmet store in Karol Bagh, and the "Ozone" and Vega dirt bike helmets looked almost same as far as the quality is concerned!
