Hey hey price is definetly a concern...
At the same time saftey is also.....
I am planning to visit bangalore for buying all the riding stuff after taking care of the budget concern...
I wouldn't like to order from net I always have the size and other doubts...

@Aryan: Thnx for the suggetions I would definetly check the brands first I would like to make sure I am not runnig short of money when I am shopping... and as you told is looking good I would use the current one for a cpl of months...

@rakesh- the Vega Formula HP is a good VFM helmet. It was my first lid while in college. At that time though it did not have the removable lining and all. The visor may not be as good as AGV and Cross's, but if you can keep it scratch free, it does a decent job.

guys i am going to jc road bangalore tomorrow to buy a helmet for my new rtr 180 white....i have no idea about the brands...my budget is rs1400 max...so plz suggest me some good brands...and will the shops be open sundays (this one for bloreans!)

Guyzzz went to shop for a helmet yesterday(actually searching from 1 month).... Could not find a shop with good helmets like AVG, MPA and all finally settled with a 'vega formula hp' helmet less cost 1.3k don't know wether a worty one or not I am going to use it for timebeing till my next trip to Bangalore.....

But the shop fellow is saying It has a washabale interior pads and demonstrated how to remove them and a very easily replacable break proof visior. Posting a few pics

Pls tell me if this is a good one to continue with or I must shop once again in Bangalore...

I use the same shell design helmet of Vega, albeit with different graphics..
The fit is very good, but air circulation/ ventilation sucks with visor down, and its peak summer right now!! The 4 horizontal vents at the front are useless.. See if you have better options wrt the ventilation aspect..

Hi Guys, got my new helmet today.. Its a CROSS "Zebra".. Shop wallah said 3.6k for it, but bargained it down to 3.2k.. Sorry for the shaky photos.. My Cell Camera's got only that much OOMPH in terms of picture clarity..

My Brand new CROSS..















My Dad's new helmet.. Its a VOLGA RD-2.. This was the only lid available for his head size.. Too bad they don't make CROSS available in sizes larger than XXL..



My 3rd Helmet.. Its a VOLGA RD-2.. Had to stop using it cause of excess wind noise after my 2nd crash..



My 2nd Helmet.. Its a GLOBE Helmet.. Dunno the model name.. Got it when i was a NOOB.. Used it for a month, got into my 1st bike crash and its been rendered useless since..



My 1st Helmet.. Its a STUDDS "Track".. Got it in Class XI for my TVS XL SUPER..

Cool lid man. My dad had brought suzuki access recently, myself & my dad gonna get new set of lids by june mid.

Does the cross helmets have D-LOCK system?
