i am looking for a dirt bike style helmet but with a visor...any suggestions ??

Got a LS2 for 3.2k
from a shop in Pune

Finally a nice helmet... found it a bit heavy but the fit is snug, and feels good,
the padding of corss helmets didn't suit me,

Hi guys,
Can anyone suggest me a good place to buy helmets in Pune.I`ve recently shifted here.I was passing J.M. road of Pune and saw an automobile shop besides adidas showroom.Name was some laxmi auto or something.I went there to buy a spare for my cbz and to my surprise he turned out to be an authorised dealer of Cross and Studds helmets.He showed me the certificates as well.He`s an wholesaler of helmets running a spare parts business.
But he didnt have the helmets on display.He was showing them one by one from the box .He told me to wait for a week as in his one section of the shop he was starting an exclusive helmet showroom where he`ll display all brands of helmets and more of cross helmets.He was quoting me some 1600rs for a cross half helmet.he said he`ll have helmets from 350rs till 12500 rs..
I`ll wait for a week to c what helmets he has on display,In the meantime can u suggest me a few other good stores where they have helmets on display

That was the first shop i had been.He has more of vega helmets and few of cross on display.The one in nana peth was fully loaded with cartons of cross helmets.Like i said they told me to wait for a week.They`ll unpack them and send it to their j.m.road outlet next week.In no hurry to buy a helmet..Need to buy a good helmet once and for all.In the meantime using a studds ninja

@ adi231189 - The high end vega helmets actually doesnt have a certification. If you carefully see, there will be a sticker stuck on the back side or some times there wont be one.

Even V for Vega is not an US company. The helmets are made in China. LOL.

@ Samyaza - Only a couple of companies actually do the R&D themselves. Rest of the companies actually buy the helmets from manufactures and brand it under them. Ex- the new Vega/studds/Cross etc etc. Basically all these helmets are manufactured in China. Even HJC,Scorpion and KBC Lids are manufactured only in China. Now how good is that to hear.

The Basic shell design will be the same except for the materials used and the detailing and designs.

If there is a requirement of say 100 KBC/HJC/Scorpion helmets, we can buy them whole sale from manufactures for lesser than best close out deals. (even during a close out deals, the stores make profit)

Say a 30 dollar helmet when end up in an online super stores, it is sold for 200 $. This is not only in Lids, for all the manufacturing items. The manufacturing policy of China is to have 1$ profit and sell 1000 quantities rather than having 10$ profit and sell 100 quantities. This is why the world is running after them for manufacturing.

I feel its just the R&D which counts.The place of manufacturing doesnt mean cheap quality
now a bravia lcd tv which costs rs 3 lakhs is made in china.That doesnt mean its a cheap built.Likewise with nike adidas,many shoes have made in china witten on it and the shoes retail anything between 5k to 10 k.SO just coz of made in china tag one should stop buying them?

Guys Really need some quick help Going tomorrow or day after to Karol Bagh now budget is 2KLooking for a Good Lid no Flip Ups i need full face lid. Was Looking for Studds,Vega(No Boolean no satisfied with padding) etc

I have booked A GS150 So Need a Lid before i take the delivery on Thurday. All Inputs Appreciated.

Was Looking for Studds Rhyno which looks Good VFM and Cost less as well i think i can Rope in Gloves as well if budget permits. but Don't know if Inner padding is removable Anything in Range of the above budget Which looks Good and All Overall Good in quality. Don't want a Egg size helmet i have one already it looks awful a good Lid with Above things.

p.s have the Studds Open Face Lid XL size no M size even though my head Measures 57cms or M size since I couldn't find Lid of M size.So If Rhyno or any other is available in M will be good and a Price quote will also be good.

If u have a small head size.U can buy the latest helmet by cross..under 2 k..the model name is Cruz

Go for vega boolean its very good its ISI & DOT certified wont look bulky on u

All studds helmets are under 2 k..u can choose bravo devil if u have a big face.and if u want a flip off helmet then ninja`s the best
