Don't forget to check the vega/Studds dealer at Amar Mahal , Chembur just besides the eastern exp which is run by a Sardarji.

hi guys!!

this is first post here and i am looking for a helmet for my Duke which will be delivered on 9th September.
i prefer a full faced helmet. my budget is around 7-8k and i hail from delhi. i went to mahalakshmi auto, KB today but couldn't find anything to my liking.
where else to hunt for a nice lid and what brands to consider? i am returning to the world of bikes after 8 long years and need all the possible advice.

LS2 Helmets at Babloo Motors

Hi Fellas,

I visited Babloo Motors in Vashi, Navi Mumbai today and found that the range of LS2 FF 358 models he had were priced at 3,650 INR and LS2 FF 350/351 priced at 2,930 INR. I just feel as if it's a little over priced. Still can you people confirm and let me know your views on the same??

the FF350 could retail at a lesser price, for instance 2500/- i got mine for that rate.
And if you can bargain hard, you could get it lesser than that i guess.

As, Krish said, whereever there is LS2 you have the term "BARGAIN" goes synonymous with it. If you can bargain and/ or a bargainer, you can try your best bet. It's a shame I am not upto that bargaining level, ought to learn from you guys.

Bargaining is no issue! but for the same i at least need to know the lower limit and that was the whole reason of asking you guys. If I have a reference price > Bargaining is cakewalk! So any further views on the prices he quoted:
1. LS2 FF 350/351 - 2,930 INR
2. LS2 FF 358 - 3,650 INR
so as to ensure, for how many bucks can the bargain be made!

I have got the following QUOTES from various dealers in MUMBAI.

S9 Helmets (Goregaon) quoted at:
1. LS2 Pumping Model (FF358) will cost about 3,200 INR and
2. LS2 Non- Pumping Models (FF 350/351) will cost around 2,600 INR.

Way better than Babloo Motors.

Only Helmets (Mulund) quoted at:
1. LS2 Pumping Model (FF358) will cost about 3,200 INR (after discount from MRP of 3,500 INR) and
2. LS2 Non- Pumping Models (FF 350/351) will cost around 2,500 - 2,600 INR (after discount from MRP of 3,000 INR).

Also called AH Helmets and he is actually giving Pro-Biker Gloves worth 450 bucks free with both the versions of helmets and thereby quoting the price as:
1. LS2 Pumping Model (FF358) will cost about 3,500 INR and
2. LS2 Non- Pumping Models (FF 350/351) will cost around 2,800INR.
But he said, If I do not want the Gloves then the final prices shall be:
1. LS2 Pumping Model (FF358) will cost about 3,200 INR and
2. LS2 Non- Pumping Models (FF 350/351) will cost around 2,500INR.

So which one is a much better and trustworthy dealer and store? All of them are better than the previously mentioned Babloo Motors. Any preferences of choices that you people wish to suggest??? I am expecting replies specially from Mumbai xBHP people as they have experience with all these stores.

Looking for a bluetooth helmet in Bangalore

hi

i am looking for a bluetooth helmet in bangalore. anyone know any place where such stuff would be available?

also, is there any portable, high-pressure water jet system to wash my bike? there is a Bosch Aquatak but that requires a power cable and a water hose connection which are not present in my parking basement. hence looking for a more portable solution to wash the mud that is stuck on the bike.

Need Help!!!

Hey guys I have the rubber packing border on my helmet base has come off in some portions of the helmet due to regular usage. Can anyone help me out/assist me in getting it fixed back??


The adhesive coat has between the helmet shell & the rubberized border is gone off. I wanted to apply Feviquik. But I thought it might compromise with the integrity & rigidity of my helmet shell. Hence thought of asking here.

Things in mind are:
1. Fevicol
2 Resin based gum used to bond furniture.
