Been planning to get a LS2.
Tried to search online, and online prices are 4k+ . :/
Did browse over this thread and got some vague idea about prices..
Anyways, before hitting the helmet store, thought of asking my Xbhp mates.

I have a thing for matte paint, planning to get something matte'ish in LS2 and my budget is 3.5k, would stretch if the product is awesome..

I did like Phobia (grey) & i did see a guy wearing it Matte finished.
But black would be very much preferable, doesn't matter even if its completely black / with graphics (matte ofcourse).

Any suggestions?

LS2 -- and as I've said this before has always been kind a mickey-minnie type priced stuff. On a fine day, you can get it at a really cheap and the right price and some day the seller just quotes crazy prices. LS2 as a helmet is sold at different prices at most of the prices. I know LS2 have sold for 2.5k slowing climibing the ladder to 3k 3.5k and even 4k. But 2.5 to 3.5K should a figure you expect from most shops. If you can bargain well, you can definitely bring to 3k max depending on the prices quoted by the guy.

P.S. Do not buy any helmets from eBay, especially LS2. The prices quoted are exorbitant and if, in case get a wrong fit, or the helmet is damaged, the aftermath process is pretty much cumbersome process and a drain on your pockets, my personal suggestion.

Try the fit personally and if everything works out, then go for it.

If you are ready to go for ls2 at 3-3.5k . I would try and encourage you guys to check out Tih helmets, they costs the same and the build quality of the helmet is way superior than the ls2. Has proper protective rating too.

These helmets are indeed great Krishna, wonder if I can get it in Bang, and "matte" specially..

Well, they are available in pure black , like i posted the pic, but din see a matte finished one. But LS2 and SOL have matte black helmets.

My gf gifted me this ls2 helmet and Alpinestar smx 5 boots as well for my birthday!

This was given as well as I was selling my cbr 250r for buying a 390 Duke.

'mine was plannin to surprise me with a LS2 on my b'day last year, but before that auspicious day I lost my Gliders and myself bought a LS2. Sigh!!! Little did I know about her cute plans. Anyways, next will not be a surprise and it is clear to me that I am gettin' a Tyre - a good good good one (safety 1st, you know!!)

BTW, if you don't mind sharin' the price for the boots........
