You rant about having this mobile and that mobile for thousands in the mobile section, but want to buy a 700₹ helmet ? Is you head worth only this much ?

I highly doubt/believe if there is any helmet in that range that can do a good job at protecting your head. Considering you recent crash, I would suggest you invest in a better helmet and some riding gear too, after all one can't expect to be lucky all the time

If you don't want to spend much on a helmet then atleast consider something like Vega axxor, Studds Ninja, LS2 etc...

And lastly for anyone to help you better with a query please try and provide a model no. or atleast a pic

Sir what I buy and what I don't ,i think it shouldn't be bothering you ,else if you're jealous I feel pity for you ,yes I can change phones and all because I have usa sources and I simply love New tech ,so what ,does that makes it mandatory to purchase a 10k or 15k helmet ,,,? I think you have a wrong image of people who can afford things in different ways ,I don't wanna buy a 5k helmet because my riding is only limited to max 500km in 50 days ,and I don't find it worth to spend that much amount just for paint job sake ,I merely asked a question and you don't have any right to even think how I spend my money .

Thank you for mature suggestion sir, looking on the net as I am still on the bed ,will be going for repairs on Wednesday and that's when I will be buying a jacket ,a pair of gloves and helmet ,
I have budget constraints ( low cash at the moment + riding gears aND especially bIke repairs) so ,would you mind suggesting some helmets In 1.5-2k range ,also ,should I use my old helmet as there are not even 1mm cracks, just minor scratchES (2-3)

dude get the studds scorpion series helmet.better than Vega.u could also most probably bargain and get it under 2k.its imho the best helmet of indian make we can get.Vega axor the price crosses 2.3k and it is dot certified but just does not feel so once we hold it in our hands.quality /finish is also Vega levels only. anyways full face helmet whatever your budget.stay away from the Vega motocross type helmets too..its only for looks.I believe steelbird also has lots of full face options at different prices.my pick still remains the studds scorpion.

10-15k helmet ? Just buy a 1500₹ studds helmet. I am using the same ninja 3G.

Tone down a bit, mate! It is only obvious that you are getting such replies. Please remember that it is a biking forum/community and many will actually disapprove your post. Logically, if you can spend on new tech mobile/gadget, why not spend some in new tech helmet.

For the query on 700/800 INR helmet, you really do not have to register in the forum and ask. Your pillion at the time of buying can help you decide the same. When you post a query, people here give you the best of suggestion. Also, note that your activities are visible to everyone - It is obviously ridiculous for the other guy to see such a query while you seem to be having no problems spending for new tech. I have not seen your posts there but take it as a general note.

Please be polite and do not pick fights. A time may come when no one will be willing to help you and you might conclude that this forum is useless and no one's helping, while the reality speaks otherwise.

Going by the description of the crash you described in other threads, I highly recommend/request that you not use that helmet either for yourself or for your pillion.

Go to a helmet store, try out some full face helmets by vega/studds/steelbird for the price range you have mentioned you will definitely find something better than what you are using currently. Make sure it is a snug fit.

I would still highly recommend you take your budget up by another 500 and go for the older model LS2, not for the paint job but for the little extra protection

I am currently in US and planning to take the opportunity of black friday close outs to buy a helmet. My budget is around 80$.

Could you please share some website details where I can get good deals?

I used the information available in the forum to measure the helmet size and it came around 24 inches, not sure if I measured correctly
