I was looking for a new helmet to replace my Vega Boolean. And finally decided to go for the LS2 FF386 modular helmet.
The Helmet World, Trivandrum had one piece (white and light green), but as I wanted glossy black, I ended up placing an order for it. They quoted Rs 5500 with a promise for a discount.
There was an ECE sticker on it and no ISI mark (I think LS2s wouldn't have ISI). And the build quality and finish was very good. But how do I know if its an original LS2 and not a fake.
Somewhere in this thread, I saw that if there is an ISI mark on an LS2, it would most probably be a fake.

Would appreciate if some one would shed some light on this..!!
LS2 does provide helmets with ISI, and the entire saga of why an ISI is preferred over a DOT and ECE is a never ending story and has been beaten to death here in the forum. I'd suggest if you reside in Kerala, with cops especially having an eagle eye on ISI tab, get yourself the Studds Scorpion or Studds RHYNO both are very good helmets and offer good protection, comfort. And when I happen to compare both the shells, the LS2 Phobia range and Studds Scorpion both were very solid. And at a price of <= 1600 the Studds is a very good choice to consider.

If you've ordered it try canceling it if you intend to check out the Studds, if you still want LS2 then it's a good deal too.

          Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

From what I see, practically it looks a bit difficult. And most riders I have seen, use it without spectacles. Now the question is, why do you want to go for such a helmet? Please understand that even with the goggles on, there is ample space below to allow dust seepage resulting in an uncomfortable riding experience. I would strongly recommend you to get a full face - spectacles or no, it feels extremely safe and comfortable to ride.

Thanks bro... I will stick with your advice. The thing was like built-in goggles looks cool and that I won't have to buy additional goggles to wear so I thought maybe this helmet goggles would work while riding. But you clarified my query thanks

Hi Benoy, I've been using Vega Boolean which has those built in goggles for more than a year and I wear specs. You can easily use them over the specs there's no such issue and it doesn't feel uncomfortable.
The only issue after a year and a half of usage slight marks have appeared on the visor where the specs' frame touches. Doesn't affect the visibility but I'll still get it replaced. For Vega it costs Rs 90.

Most senior riders in Kerala is using a helmet with no isi. It's no big deal. As we move beyond ls2s it's any way difficult to have any isi.

Yes, you get the outer visor in different shades - clear, tinted and reflective. Costs about Rs150/- here in Pune. The inner visor comes only in the reflective shade as far as I know.

Could you please explain why you say that Vega Boolean is risky.

Divya may or may not answer because it has been already discussed a lot in this thread.
One of the simple reason is because it is a modular model. I would like to humbly request you to research this very thread to read more elaborate and relevant posts on the same.

                                1. Its not a full face.
                                2. Its a Vega. Has good decals but most of their products are flimsy. I have owned a Vega Boolean in the past. Hence I know how cheap (quality wise) that product is!
