Change it ASAP. AFAIR, he said spare visors are available for SOL helmets.
Although i forgot if he had mentioned the cost. Might be around 700-800.

Uh, Guys, I was initially locked on to buying an MT Revenge, but now after some discussion back home, is there any helmet that reflects light such that I'll be visible in darkness?

Went a couple pages back and someone said about the MT blade being reflective.. is that the only helmet or do we have any other choice..?

Only SOL offers LEDs I guess. I may be wrong, but I haven't seen other helmets with lights on 'em!
OTOH, why don't you just put some conspicuity tape on your (to-be-bought) Revenge?

The shop owner is a good guy to talk to. Knows the technical thing, and also does good business.

I'd recommend him. btw, he's here on xBhp, by his shop name.

I have heard the probiker store has a dubious reputation when it comes to originality. Nothing against that guy, but heard this from some members of the xBhp Pune group. I had bought an LS2 from him for 3k but found that it has a lot of difference with the LS2s sold by Laxmi Automobiles in Nanapeth(they claim to be the only authorised LS2 dealers in India. The LS2 website also directs to their webpage). I also feel probiker charges more than the others. You get a bill and all, don't understand why the difference

You may say so! They are reflective stickers and are very much visible when a light source beams at them.

Those are 3M reflectors mate.. I found 'em on ebay..

Guess I'll go for a nice helmet and stick those up to the helmet, my bag if possible & my bike (foot pedals etc where it's hidden and visible from back when light is on..)

i too have nothing against him. but since i am a newbie in this field, i am more interested in what you've got to say when you mention that he charges more.

But you need a battery to fire these up.. also I'm not sure about the Glow-In-The-Dark tapes.. do they really last for hours??
