Sounds like you got one helmet size bigger than what you should have..

The sizing is 58 and when I put it on its a really tight fit..like my cheeks are really pushed in. I tired a shark helmet..don't remember the model no. But this shark helmet is really comfortable in 58 size. Plus it has cutouts around the ear parts inside the helmet and the cheek pads are of much better quality than the K3.
                Thanks iberry for the clarification

Now the k3 and k4 are phased out our and are replaced by k3 SV range
                From AGV

So do u think its better to go for the k3 ( old stock) or buy the k3 SV models

                Or any other brands
                Please do suggest me,
I'm in search of a helmet which is silent and aerodynamic

The K3 Sv is way better than the older K3. The padding is of much better quality. It also has cutouts around the ears. I didn't buy SV cause I had already bought my K3 chicken. I'm also looking for a new helmet but not from AGV... want to try something else. Shark helmets are really good. You get visor cleaning kit, some sorta card with warranty details, helmet carrying bag, stickers... The helmet vents are glove friendly too.

I am considering this as one of my options and need your help wrt the following queries:

                    1. How long have you been using this helmet? Do the liners ease out drastically post use?
                    2. In some countries, this helmet is sold with the clear visor, a light tinted visor and the pinlock insert as a package. How about here in India?
                    3. Any negatives that you may want to highlight?

                    Thanks in advance.

                    Hey man,
Remember I told you in the last post reviewing the HJC-FG17, the wind noise problem I had? Well I sorted it out, and wanted to let you know it had NOTHING to do with the helmet! Turns out I was riding with my jacket open at the top, so it was acting like a parachute and redirecting wind directly into the neck of the helmet, and thus the noise... I zipped the jacket up properly and then noise is gone!!!
Now you can comfortably take my word, that i have no issues with it at all! It's awesome. Trust me, buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Hey guys is there a shop in Panvel where I can buy products from PlanetDSG or Spratan Pro Gear?

If not, is there a trusted shop you guys would recommend to buy a helmet/jacket there?

I'm thinking of going there to get my riding gear as there is nothing available where I live (except fake chinese stuff). Thanks a lot brothers.

There are a few shops here in Mumbai where you can buy authentic gear without worrying about fakes. First is the PlanetDSG store that has opened up in andheri. They'll have the jackets that are cheap to the expensive Alpinestars etc. also have a very good range of helmets.
Then Moto101 is a new store opened up at Bandra, they also have a good range of stuff and run by very nice people who are bikers themselves. They stock the MT helmet range as well as HJCs and good range of gloves and helmets.
Then coming to South Mumbai, there is Performance Racing Store at Tardeo which has very good stuff, but most of it is very expensive side (most of their helmets start at 15k onwards) and just opp that is Bachoo Motors which is my personal fav. Bachoo has a very good range of affordable branded safety gear, you should try that.
All these have their own dedicated FB pages, which you should check out first. Also see JV Promoto at Bandra East.
                            Cheers
