I bought Sparx S07 Bruce Lee limited edition for 4k last year from Karol Bag, Delhi... Normally the price will be 6k-8k ..

I got my sparx s-07 (sin city or platinum edition) in 6k..4k is too less for sparx how u manged :O ..

I didn't got any earplugs with my sol .. how much for the plugs?

i got xl size .. pretty big in size xD .. i expected it to be somewhere near mustard yellow .. but its lemon yellow .. the graphics look pretty well and top notch build quality

the coolmax interior is itch free but helmet is having a bit of bad odour which should be gone in no time

il post more thoughts after a weeks use

ps : spartan pro gear - best communication ever they kept me updated thorugh out the process and replied to all my mails asap

I got the helmet SOL 68S Wizard few months back.. many of my friends also got SOLs from the same person(read only authorised SOL dealer in Kolkata)..
but nobody got earplugs and the dealer is a close friend of us he won't keep the plugs I'm sure.. ..may be sunny can throw some light..

I got the helmet SOL 68S Wizard few months back.. many of my friends also got SOLs from the same person(read only authorised SOL dealer in Kolkata)..
but nobody got earplugs and the dealer is a close friend of us he won't keep the plugs I'm sure.. ..may be sunny can throw some light..

i got it from sol experience centre chennai :/

hello guys
ive decided and went ahead in ordering two sol helmets

SL 68 S ( unicorn)
SL 68 S II HOrnet ( blue)

i made the payment and all
and spartan progear shipped the helmets
and after 5 days the helmets arrived at my door step
and im shocked to see that both the helmets are damaged
literally they were cracked at the top

im attaching few pics of the helmets where it is damaged

talked to spartan pro gear
he said he will replace it ( but not surely )

paid a total of 11k + for both helmets and all i got is damaged helmets

didnt expect this from SPartan Pro Gear at all
im not degrading their name or such
maybe im unlucky to face this problem

and coming to the way they shipped the helmets was very shocking

the helmet was kept inside helmet cover
and kept inside its box and taped at top only and just sent
no tape on the bottom

seriously atleast some padding or thermocol should be kept at the top or atleast some papers stuffed around the helmet inside the box

now im totally disappointed
and communcation with spartan pro gear is good until i ordered
after this incident i hardly get a call from them and i only need to call them and i dont get any answer or solution from them

really feel sad for you :O .. mine was covered in helmet cover .. decent amout of thermacol included and taped well from all sides .. btw they strictly stated in the mail if u receive a tampered or damaged box don't take it .. y did u take it :S

ps : communication was gud from them as far as my deal is concerned

The helmet should be insured, they charge Rs 500/- for shipping the helmet and that includes insurance, I
was told when I bought my helmet. So they should replace the helmets free of cost, otherwise
what is the insurance for, right. Hope your case gets resolved soon. So hang in there.

The earplugs are not a freebie. They are part of a special awareness drive on hearing safety being promoted by the Chennai Centre. Only provided with helmets sold or shipped from Chennai.

i looked into this as soon as I saw your post. Also got all transcripts from the Contact Centre of incoming and outgoing mails to and from you for verification.

As Nitesh has posted, you were very specifically sent a mail with the tracking number ( in fact the very same mail that Nitesh has posted on the forum) telling you not accept any package if damaged. This way the courier can be held responsible. The package is indeed insured but liability ceases as soon as you signed "received in good condition". All this is clearly stated in the mail. So why did you sign and accept it when specifically cautioned? You can hardly hold the Company responsible for your own oversight, right?

As far as the communication is concerned, I found that you have only spoken to the counter sales person at the Chennai store - no official communication by email to the HelpDesk. They are not even aware of your case! How do you expect to get an official response if nobody knows about it? The counter sales guy is obviously not empowered to address your issue, and when I spoke to him just now, he told me that "sir, customer admitted his mistake, so what should I do? " - you needed to get such matters upstairs immediately. If I hadn't seen your post, I wouldn't even know about it myself!

I will have somebody from Operations speak to the logistics company on Thursday (tomorrow is a holiday) to see if something can be done but I can't make any promises. The insurance company is not going to cough up since you have accepted the package in "good condition", so SPG will have to put pressure on the logistics company to see if they will blink. This could all have been avoided if only you followed the instructions!

Anyway, lets hope for the best. Keep in touch with me via PM and I will follow up too.

Ok so I've been watching numerous bikers here in Chicago riding by with no semblance of a helmet anywhere. On further enquiries, I found out that riding with a helmet is not mandatory in the state of Illinois. What I was told is that they have done research on this and found that if you have a fall above 40 mph, it is going to be fatal anyways and that you will be riding at over 40 most of the time. Plus, trying to get a person who has survived a fall, out of his helmet before transporting him to the nearest hospital, is difficult and so they have gone with the no mandatory helmet rule.

@niteshneela thanks for the pics. Please tell the graphics on these helmets is it a paint job or are they stickers? In pics the quality of the graphics looks good.
