For me safety and comfort were first and then uniqueness is added advantage , but anyways people don't even know about this brand at all. Last week I went to buy a helmet for my wifey and the guy over there was pitching in the LS2 Carbon fibre which was like 1/3 of the price, as per him don't invest in a brand which is hardly known by anyone. I am so happy that I made the right decision in the end.

Although Spartan Pro Gear has Nexx with them, just curious from where you bought it? And the brand is quite famous in other countries, havent seen anyone buying one here.

Excellent buy puneet.chandila and you won't be disappointed with the PINLOCK, it's bloody good. And do treat us with some snaps of the interior of the helmet if possible.

I did get a chance to try one once and it is indeed snug and much better than their earlier helmets. In the specified price range, I guess it is absolute Value For Money.

I felt studds scorpion offers better quality at around same or less price. axor is dot certified but I feel quality not so much.the air vents positioning and vents opening+direction also don't make much sense.vents themselves not of much quality.anyway check it out at the store personally and decide.

                    • Need XL full face helmet (620mm) - Indian make, lower price point

Can you pl suggest a 620mm full face helmet preferably from an Indian brand (studs, vega, etc) in the price range of 1000-2000 Rs? I am open for a higher price, but would prefer to stick to a decent one at a lower price point rather than a very expensive one.

I am finding it difficult to find a large sized helmet & the shop guys are trying their best to sell the small sized ones saying this is the max size or give some shabby local helmet and say this is what you get. After local helmets, the closest they offered was Volga (600mm I think) which again was very tight for me. OR is it that we just dont get large sized helmets fitting my head in indian brands?

If any of you is interested in importing riding gears including HELMETS from the U.S here is an online shop called
MotoSport out of Tualatin, OR (Oregon),USA which you may find helpful or even useful. They have prices
in Indian Rupees and you have the option to choose all inclusive door-to-door service
(meaning duty paid door-to-door service) or you can opt to pay the duty at the time of arrival of the goods.
I am not recommending them by any means as I have not used them yet, I just found them while searching
for online riding gear shops. If any of you order anything from them let us know how it turned out.

Anyways here is the website address

Yes it is available at 250 rs for a pair. I don't think they sell just one as they come in a single pouch.

                            Quick impressions-

                            1. Looks ultra wicked. Pictures cannot describe how badass it looks in person

                            2. It's kind of on the heavier side as SNELL certified helmets need to match a minimum weight category.

                            3. Liner is very plush and comfortable.

                            4. The visor is so clear, you can barely feel that it's actually present.

Ventilation, noise and the rest of the stuff will be tested out tomorrow. Oh and this beautiful sphere of fibreglass cost me a mere $83 with shipping to New Jersey while the actual price is $278!! All thanks to motorcyclegear.com's closeout sales. Sadly I had to wait for 8 months since there was nobody to get it from my Friend's place in Jersey to India and I was really apprehensive about getting it couriered. But oh well, better late than never.

Hey, I would like to share with you my very recent experience when one of my near-n-dear one was looking out to buy a helmet. Any ISI full face helmet available in the market at present in the price bracket around 1200/- has fibre-wall protection at the chin area which is so inadequate that even you can break/crack it with a strike. These helmets look like a full face one but in reality they are not. I really doubt if such is the guidelines mentioned (about chin protection) for the helmets by the ISI.

After looking out for many many ISI helmets in the market for the stated price range, my "dear one" finally decided to invest in a good lid and ended up with a LS2. Moreover I made him buy a spare visor to take care of any future needs.

@<F.I>........... congrats & indeed super-cool stuff............... & yes those paddings do deserve attention .............. I think someone's gonna show up at the Dhaba in full-tu dhoom tomorrow

AXOR is a decent range to start with the VEGA brand, anything lesser is not a good proposition. And Cross range too falls in the same bracket quality, finish and build wise.

You are absolutely right, compared hand in hand with Cross and VEGA both are almost equally on par with build quality, and Cross though feels a little glossier, it's hard to come to a conclusion on both. But Studds Scorption which I've been advocating for quite a while, excellent budget Indian helmet, especially the white scorpion master one, love it.
