What do you mean dude???Originally posted by cyberman View PostI tried so many reply realy frustrating.. if they was thread for each post then it would have been easy
Use the 'Search Thread' function. Use it to search for the posts about fastrack helmets. What is there to get so confused in this matter??
Most members advised you against those fastrack plastic bucket. You need a helmet for your Dio right. So let me put this straight:
1. Get a full face helmet. They look cool and offer better protection than open face helmets. Yes, they do look good with the Dio.
2. IIRC you mentioned that your budget is 2-3k. So according to that get a LS2 or if possible extend your budget a little and get the new MT helmets.
3. You also get a variety of color and graphics option in helmets of both these brand which will definitely go well with your Dio and also offer much greater protection and style than those fastrack plastic buckets.
I hope i have cleared all your doubts.
Cheers

Re: Helmets
Visit an authorized shop nearby. You are lookng for a 5-6k helmet right? Any company (SOL/HJC etc) won't honour warranty if bought from online resellers.Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostI'm buying a helmet from Bikegear.in. Is the site RELIABLE or not?
Also, any other RELIABLE sites for buying helmets? Heard dat vicky.com cheats ppl nowadays. Was thinking of it earlier.

Re: Helmets
I had picked up my MT Axxis Atom helmet couple of weeks back.
I bought it from Megha Enterprise / Ryder City in JC Road, Bangalore. It costed me INR 3950.
Have made an Unboxing & First Impressions video of the same. Hope it would give some idea about the helmet for those who are looking for it.
This video is just a first impression video and not a review of the helmet.
Haven't used this helmet extensively yet. But few points I would like to mention here.
The padding on the helmet is a little hard at the moment. Also, the amount of padding on the top head region is a little lesser than I expected, whereas on the cheek area, there is sufficient padding. (I would've liked more if the padding was a little better on the top region).
Noise cancellation and ventilation works and are decent, though not extra ordinarily great. One of the best thing I liked is that it weighs over 1550 grams, but doesn't feel heavy at all. I'm assuming that it's because of how it's built and the aerodynamics of the helmet.
I feel this is a very good helmet at the price its offered and the options we have in India. Just like it's price, it can be placed between the LS2 helmets and the SOL helmets.
Few pics of the helmet.

Is the top padding removable/changeable? Can we add a Medium or a smaller padding at the top?Originally posted by sudeepnbr View PostI had picked up my MT Axxis Atom helmet couple of weeks back.

Yes, all the paddings are removable/changeable.Originally posted by Calculus View PostIs the top padding removable/changeable? Can we add a Medium or a smaller padding at the top?
For L and M size, it's the same Shell. Just the padding is different.
I don't think you can additionally add padding on top.Sudeep P Nambiar
