    Which helmet?
What were the damages to the helmet?
If they are visible to naked eyes then probably you may have to change the helmet.
    Why compromise your safety?.

No helmet is good under 3k, ls2 starts at minimal of 3800.₹.
          Don't buy Scorpion again.
Look for studd striker and vega axxor

I am facing a very urgent issue with my SOL SS1 helmet. The helmet's visor is scratched up and I am unable to procure a replacement.

Both Megha Enterprise as well as Lets Gear Up were unable to provide me with a visor. Megha Enterprise even went to the extent of telling me that I have made a mistake in going for a SOL helmet. In their opinion, SOL helmet spares are perpetually unavailable. And Lets Gear Up informed me that something may be available by the end of April, but nothing is guaranteed. Please note that these are the authorized dealers that I am talking about.

And, to top it all, [email protected] remains unresponsive. This is pathetic.

I have posted here in the hope that Spartan reps take note of this post and helps me.

The other option for me would be to ditch my 6 month old SOL helmet and go for a brand with better spares support.

                • Re: New lid.

My LS-2 FF-350 Crono small review.

I used this helmet for my honda dio. I used to travel 40-50 kmph. So i could not test the wind test on other bikes. Had a chance to check it yesterday with few chennai xbhpians. Travelled on ECR as pillion in CBR 150 & 250 R. The padding is quite good for my face. Not loose or tight one. Just correct padding. The wind test gives different test after-all.

40-60 kmph- I could not hear wind noise from the vents
                  .
60-70 kmph- Slight wind noise creeps inside the lid.
70-80 kmph- Wind noise can be heard.
                  80-100 kmph- Strong wind noise.
Post 100 kmph- I felt a lot of judder inside the lid. It's like your head is in place but your lid is shaking around your head.

It's is not safe to use beyond 100+ kmph. Best suited for city drive below 80 kmph.

Prospective buyers of LS-2: If your bike can cross 100 kmph(with-out stressing the engine rpm) please look some better make/model.
Disclaimer: This wind test is done only in LS-2 FF 350 model.

@B7ACKTHORN: With the abnormal wind test, In my lid a duplicate/fake one? Lid weight is 1.5kgs.

Hi bro... I need a one with around 3.5k to 4k just want to know whether these shops have the one with complete package because I get used to the Vegas, steelbirds & studds ( though they are the giants) I'm looking any dealer in specific for HJC ,KBC and sparX with the pricing above

Mine is R15 v2 , so the helmet must not only be protective beside that, should be very sporty and awesome in graphics and look

I don't think you woukd get HJC/KBC/SparX in the above stated budget.
Under 4k, you have LS2 and the MT helmets. Check on SPG website for dealers near your place for MT helmets.

Hey arkadeep, I woukd suggest SOL SL68s helmet which costs around 6500 including VAT and other necessary charges. Very good protection, almost no wind noise, good ventilation and LEDs embedded behind the helmet work really well. Been using it for around a week now and am completely satified with it.

Ok dude he he... I was wondering whether I can get away with one of those with that pricing... Btw no problem in extending the budget if the other brands have not meet my criteria...let me check on spg.then decide on that.

I am very eager to know the level of wind noise in excess of 100km. Beside that I need some clarification on weight, protection inside the helmet.

Btw LED embedded behind the helmet is wonderful. Can you tell me how the LED works?

Happy to see some pics..if possible
