Hello guys looking for a helmet.
Pure city usage
Helmet should be black:P and sexy
Ls2 is what I had in mind but so many fakes are there im scared. Cant risk my head. Buying online would be a safe bet?
I wont put a budget on my head but shouldn't be over 6 to 8 k,
Clear visor needed

SOL and HJC has pure black models, both under the 8k mark.

You can go ahead safely for online purchase with Spartan/SOL, they do not have a negative track record there.
For HJC , you might need to check with PRS.

Hello Guys,

I am looking for a helmet with a budget of 6k...initially I was planning on SOL Unicorn, did not get a chance to check it out due to non availability of SOL here in Delhi.

My only requirements are alongwith good protection-
1) Weight-Helmet should be as light as possible.
2) Visor and ventilation-Good ventilation and visor as I would like to ride with visor close most of the time.
3) Design but is secondary (to go with Duke).

SOL is quite heavy from what I've read, so I dont see it as an option, I have tried THH, but was too large for me and Chopra at Karol Bagh had that size only.

And I would refrain from LS2.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Did you check with Meandering India to know the availability of SOL and MT helmets? Usually they get products once/twice a month. Also, you can try Redline racing store for HJC and AGV. However, these won't be under 6k mark.

Yes, I called Meandering India 2 weeks back, then he said he does not have any SOL, and now I called him yesterday, he says that he only has MT and will receive SOL a week later. He also has NUVO's old stock and is of arround 6k. The newer stock will have a price of around 8k, but the ones he has are scratched as the container fell down, so its a deal breaker.

I am not aware of MT..how are these? According to Meandering, the price is arround 3.8K, and price range of HJC and AGV?

MT helmets are good vfm products. There are many users here who have given a short review of their MT helmets. If you are in the market for LS2, then I would suggest you to try MT once. The helmet is good and comes with 2 years warranty, good graphics and is both DOT and ECE certified.
HJC models from PRS start from around 7-8K and same is the case with AGV.

Finally got my MT limited evo white-blue. I was waiting for the black one for more than 2 months but coudn't get a hold of it, so decided to buy this one. Satisfied with the purchase.

Yes i got it from them. They have a pure white and black-grey braking helmet in stock.

Ok i will post the link of that helmet. No they don't have any sol in stock right now. Helmet colour is black n white(my mistake).

Today, for few minutes I used my friend's Studds Shifter. As I crossed 60-65kmph, wind noise was quite noticeable. Just wanted to share with you all.

But then anything aboveb6 to 8 k will be a bit hard on my pocket,
I liked the ls2 because of its looks and the 3 types of visors I can buy, clear, chome looking and dark.

Hello friends i have an old studds professional helmet,although it is in good shape ,but now i want to change it so what do you guys suggest, what helmets should i look for, helmet should not be too costly plus i don't want to buy studds again.
