  • Re: Helmets

Hey Guys, I am looking for MT helmet in delhi, but could not find any shop.
Tried calling Meandering India but they have only KYT.
Budget is 5k(max), color to go with my duke 390.
I am not interested in buying online as I am not sure abt the size and not willing to take the risk.
Any reviews abt KYT? or any other brand which should I opt for??

Budget is till 4-5k. Blue is not the only criteria. Complimenting the 200NS look is the main criteria. And I'm not mentioning safety because that's a priority always.

After an year of using the vega off-road half visor helmets and doing like 3 long trips on it and my weekly 150kms work-home sprint i am in a dilemma to change my helmets ..
the half visor got my face black with dust and rain is another story .. night riding is like hitting all those pesky insects on the way .. And the wiggle above 80kmph ..
So well decided to pick something inside 3.5k .. kindly suggest something that goes with the white karizma - full face, night riding ... between how good is THH ??

I also bought a mt helmet from meandering india 4 months ago. They are really lazy in their business. I also had the option to go kyt but i felt that mt has better build qualtiy and inner padding so i waited for mt.

i have one mt helmet. its less then six months old but blue padding on back, which can not be replaced as it is attached to it unlike inner padding, is giving up. i hardly ride my bike. my bike is 20 months old but i haven't completed 10000 kms on it. 4-5 months is a very short period for a helmet to show signs of decay... my old 20 months old jade is still sparkling new n i really take a good and detailed care of my stuff. inner padding buttons are also not of good quality. I really doubt now that its a quality stuff. Click image for larger version

Why don't you send in your complaint to the SPG HelpDesk? [email protected]

Your MT Helmet has a warranty backed by SPG. Remember to scan and send your invoice copy too.

So does that mean I do not have any option of getting MT in delhi ? What other options do I have while considering the budget of 5k?

Sorry for the late reply mate, was busy with exams and all the means to internet was blocked by parents.

I was wearing a Studds Scorpion and planning to buy the same again. I know there are better helmets around, but my budget will only allow me to buy either the Studds Scorpion or the Studds Shifter. I believe that these two are the best ones around 2k.

I'm also eying the LS2 FF351.9 action, but can't stretch my budget a penny more and I need a new helmet ASAP.

Its difficult to get MT in delhi, you'll have to call meandering india repeatedly. Only choice is to get it online.

Last time i checked, Meandering India was not in the SPG dealers list anymore.

Yes that would be the reason they don't have MT anymore. So that means there's no of getting MT in delhi.
