Now that most xBHPians in Bangalore buy from Balaji Helmets / Megha, could we look at collective purchasing & referral discounts? say, A 10% discount on a 6k lid is good amount!
Maybe we could pass on the discounts to xBHP operating costs/ social causes, the community we've come to love so much.
Anyone going to start a new thread?

why balaji / megha shops for 6k helmets ?

instead we can try for Daijya / AGV / MPA helmets itself.

once I went to Balaji and he showed me boolean in 2 sizes, does it come in 2 sizes or just padding diff?
He sold that one to my frnd in Rs.1650. Is it an Ok price or we should have bargained more?

Can you guys suggest me a really good dealer in bangalore, a good Modular helmet for me and one for my GF(Full face)? Looking for VFM helmets with good quality in range of 2000 and 1000-1200 respectively.

Yes i had read your earlier post regarding the same,
Fortunately my head size is ~58cms, will buy it in a couple of months.
Got one for my friend though, small size.
Did you try the helmet? If its not too tight they you can give it a try as the padding will come down by 1cm atleast with usage.
Didnt buy any full face helmet?

Hey guys,

If any of you have changed your visors to tinted ones, could you post the a) City you live in
b) Helmet make
c) Price you paid for the visor
d) Shop you bought it from
e) shopping experience
It would be a great help to fellow city xbhpians when they want to change their visors.

For me
a) Bangalore
b) GP One
c) 350
d) Balaji
e) Was in a hurry to get it. The plump guy there said 380 first and when I tell him to reduce the price he says ok Ill give a discount and quotes 378 !!!! Wanted to jump across the counter and smack the taste out of him ..... Anyways finally brought it down to 350 which I knew was too much but I didnt have the element of time with me. Am not going back there again. Like the others have said they are just out to rip off their customers one by one. The whole concept of 'Customer is king' or 'Positive word of mouth' does not occur to those guys. Ignoramuses.

In case anyone missed it, quite a few pages ago, one of the xbhpians (cannot get who, apologies dude) found that he had paid over 1k more for a GPR (if I am not mistaken) helmet from Balaji helmets and thanks to xbhp came to know about it. He went back and got his money from them.

1)try visiting KRP...although price is lil bit high...but you end up find a reasonable riding gears.

Yesterday i spotted a guy on pulsar, he was wearing a motocross style helmet ala studds stone & devil style, it was in matt back finish and skull & chain graphics was very nicely done on it. At enquiring he told me that this is newely lunched model of AutoGreen, priced at 1k.

One of the cutomer carried the above mentioned helmet to our showroom today, and once again like other Autogreen helmet thehiglight of the package was the pricing, 500 INR only. Few pics:

Except the graphics, I don't think anything else would be worth a second look! How about safety standards? Does it meet the ISI standards or perhaps any other international safety standards? Did you happen to check Bandhav?
